  1. Congrats on your season JB. . . and i couldn have been more proud than when i was watching my boy 83, austin dillon, playing his last game balls to the wall. . Tony hood, creigh hall, shane johns, jeffrey butcher, josh cunningham congratulations. Last friday was probably your last game and you should all be proud. . watching the football games on friday night made high school worth it. . .
  2. man i have no idea. . I know all the fans are jus driving down there, i dont think we'll be taking any buses. I'm going with some guys from the 98' state champ team. I hadn't ever seen the way those guys love football as much as i have the past few weeks. . yeah in high school 5 yards on 4th down is almost managable. . but i dunno about the kicker he is nice to have to kick the ep's and the field goals, but i think what most people like about him is his halftime warmup. . its jus kinda showy
  3. he deserves the award but i dont think he has a future in D-1 football. . he's not good enough to start in dont think and a college isn't gonna hold onto two or three kickers
  4. he's really not clutch. . he has good stats because they let him kick field goals to boost those stats all the time. . Last year in the friendship vs. TC game he missed a medium to short range game winning field goal. . He's not missed many this year but what situations has he been in to put pressure on him? Creasy lets him kick the field goal when most teams would jus go for it. . that makes white look really good on stats
  5. im from TC but i dont live there now. . Ive been following them closely though. Im planning on being in the boro friday for their game. anyways back to the kicker. . He just seems like a player you would find in a 5a school except he's not quite as refined as a 5a kicker
  6. You know based on pure stats i feel like he should have gotten it, but i've heard alot of people hype him up too much. He isn't going to go play at a D-1 college like i've heard some say. He just ins't cluth enough. I like the kid but he didn't mold into the normal TCHS player like most do, such as Wesley Satterfield you not only had kicking stats that were equal to the kicker now, but wesley still played two other positions i believe. offense and defense. There have been a couple other players that could kick really good, but they also featured some other talent and clutch kicking was really the only time they kicked. But the kicker now jus kicks field goals and pats in every situation. not reliable in the clutch tho
  7. should the kicker from trousdale really have won the mr. football award
  8. at least somebody has some understanding of what tradition is. . .
  9. wasn't winning? last i checked the state championships we won in the 70's the 90's. . . ha and even the 20's still count????? thats traditon though you probably just forgot about that since you'd have no cocnept of the word
  10. HAHAHA!!!! My mommy told me? I live in Smyrna now and i've been at most of their games so i believe i know a little more than 1a football. . but you know in an arguement like this there's only one way to prove you're right so all i know to do is tell ya to head down to the Boro and watch how a prepared football team plays compared to your boys. . So heres my prediction TC 28- JB 6. . So whats your prediction and we'll see who knows more about tradition and 1a football on Friday night? /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  11. wel maybe you need a little history lesson my friend. Trousdale co played and BEAT Livingston Academy in 2005. Do you know how the 3a state champs was that yr? LIVINGSTON ACADEMY. . . I didn't see the yellow jackets leaving the field in an ambulance, but i did see Livingston academy's quarterback, who went to college to play for Louisville, get shut down. . so before you go thinking about what would happen to JB if they played a team a little out of their league REMEMBER you're talking about the JACKETS. .
  12. your last sentence makes absolutely no sense. . but you were making excuses when you posted that: "man i just saw where TC has 451 students enrolled. WOW! yall got us whooped on numbers. must be nice havin all those kids to draw from. i guess yall are the best 2A team in the 1A playoffs. congrats guys." I mean just because were a 1a team that ALWAYS sets the bar in the HARDEST 1a region in the state that doesn't have to anger all the weaker teams that just dont have a chance. Maybe if they would start practicing until 9 p.m. every night for about 5 yrs. then all the other teams that complain about the region not being fair would see what PREPARATION can do for a team.
  13. I used to live in Trousdale co and i can promise you the selection of students being bigger by about fifty has no bearing on whats about to happen to Joe Byrns on Friday. If Joe Byrns had 1,000 students, TC's best 11 would still put Joe Byrn's best 11 to shame. . . TC isn't the hardest working team in the state for no reason. Making the football team in hartsville isn't about how good you are. Nobody gets cut from the team, but players quit because its too intense. The intensity and the tradition of the TC football program is wat will win the game for them Friday, not the amount of students in the school. It's sad that everyone is already making up excuses for TC beating JB even though it hasn't happened yet.
  14. Did the old pirate predict that loss to Trousdale co?
  15. Jared White Trousdale, co High School
