In the old plan first round did you not already play a team from your "partnered" region? In the upper levels over the years I can remember I can't think of teams who played before round 2 from the same region. I could be wrong and apologize for my gnorance if I am.

Please do and turn it on high! What an ignorant post! Sorry.....didn't realize my opinion of an offense was ignorance. You must be a Wing T school supporter. My favorite is when a Wing T school is successful and everyone loves it, but when they start losing everyone starts screaming for changes in the offense because it is too outdated. The Wing T is the easiest to stop as long as your defense is disciplined and each player takes care of his assignment. But I guess with very few defenses in high school being that disciplined, the Wing T is an easy way out. Now someone make an argument against me and call me ignorant again...... this could be my own persoanl ignorance but if a defense is disciplined and plays their assignments shouldn't they stop every offense?? the plain and simple is the wing t can be far more diverse than just buck sweeps, traps, bellys, and boots. the rocket and jet sweeps are easy blocks and quick hitting perimeter plays. you add in their compliment plays, some midline, inside veer, and speed option it's a good deal. btw people scream and complain about spread offenses and I formation offenses when they start losing too. just ask Wilson Central

While their offense isn't flashy oakland's offense does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. They pound the ball eat clock and capitalize on field position. Oakland's offense does what it needs to do they let the D get thier rest. When you are a team that puts your studs on D and expects to win with D that's all you need from your offense pound the ball eat clock capitalize on opportunities. Now with that off my chest and capitalizing on opportunities being out there MJ doesn't give Oakland's O the short field and MJ wins it with Emmetts knocking home the game winner. 10-7 GOLDEN BEARS!!

not to sound like I am coming to WC's defense because that is no where near the case but ummm...... are you telling me that 4-5A wasn't the big boys?? I mean I could be mistaken but I am pretty sure the last 3 highest class (at the time) champions have come from there. All that being said I look for H'ville to knotch the W.

did they not experiment with the spread briefly when aric first got there? i seem to recall going to hillsboro to see it and it was a glorious disaster. but who knows may it will work the 2nd time around.

ahh a wonderful case of people who take what they want out of a situation. don't mind the deep and rich culture that was under the flag or anything else just pick out the bad part. in that case we might as well change the flag of just about every country because i'm sure they did something terrible to someone along the way. but anywho great win for the rebs hope they can keep rolling.
