I can't win on here. I get rediculed for all my comments. I didn't mean they didn't have good players. They have some good players. But all players need good coaching. I pay the coach a complement and get accused of tongue in cheek. I guess if i can't do anything but praise the whole program then i shouldnt say nothing. OK, great players, and absolutly wonderful coach= state title for sure. Best of luck to La in there bid for the state title. Now, somebody find something bad about that.

Absolutly marvelous 28-1. It's amazing what Livingston was able to do after loosing so many seniors. It has to be mostly coaching. Looks like another trip to the state is a forgone conclusion for the cats.

YuckI guess my wording of the post wasn't good. My point was that Livingston was hard to beat the last 2 years with all the games they have won before tourny play. Making it to the state is real good But to me the true success is whether you win the gold ball although winning a game in the state tourny is actually pretty good.. I didn't know alot of Bolivar details accept the score so I didn't know what the score was with 4 minutes left. But I do know Fulton game was never close. Who have they beaten this summer?

I have to agree with you on that one BB. Livingston was going to be hard to beat the last 2 years and have got blown out of there 2 state tournament games. Until you win at least a game in the tourny you don't have alot of room to brag.

My mistake. I actually thought they had more seniors than that. 9 of 15 being sophmores and freshmen is fairly young I guess. And I thought 4 seniors from last year. Thank you for straghtening me out.

I don't have any idea about the schedule but I can't see how anybody can talk about youth to much. I mean I know they lost 4 seniors but I think there are 4 or 5 seniors on this team that have played alot especialy Smith. I don't know if all the seniors will start but I'm sure they will play alot. If they can find a true leader like Dunn then they should win several games.

I'm sure this Key kid is good, but you appear to be obsesed with him. I'm sure the coach hopes he is as good as you say he is. Maybe he will win sophmore of the year.

Will Coach Melton have his work cut out for him. Loosing 4 seniors will be a big challenge especialy Dunn. How will next years team fair? Will some of the returners step up or will the Cats take a big down turn.

I was just curoius to see what all the LA fans thinks about what kind of year the boys will have this season coming up.

I care because I think starting a practice @ 6:30 pm when you have a critical game the next night is too late.

Maybe it was called off. I don't think anyone knows what time they practiced.

100 wins is a nice acomplishment for Coach Melton. He does a good job no doubt. A true measuring stick may come starting next season when Chase Dunn is no longer around. Best of luck Cats.

I also heard the story that Somebody in the LA student section kicked a York player. If this is true, was it dealt with in any way? LA surley didn't press the whole game the way the score was. I don't think the 2 kids that got technicals ever come back in the game. I guess the York coach was trying to make a point.

I don't think the score will be that bad. LA had a bad game at Upperman and it didn't sound like they played too well at Macon Co. They may be in a little late season lull. I think they beat York pretty bad but not by 36.

Coach Melton does a excellent job of coaching, but heaven forbid that anybody say anything about him that is not totally praising him. As far as success goes, when he wins 600+ games then we will talk about success.

Good post hog. From the call by R.Eley, he did say it could have easily been called flagrant. I'm just proud Chase wasn't hurt. I think Upperman has always been known for atitude. Surely there Coach wouldn't tolerate such actions. LA has a reputation for some shady(dirty) play as well. I think alot people wonder if Coach Melton ever addresses it or does he encourage it. Surely he doesn't encourage it. I always heard if a player got a technical under Coach Vaughn, you could just about figure his night was over. This game may bring out the best in both teams but this game will not be close. Upperman wins by 15+.

I am going to have to pay closer attention to the game. I stayed until the game was over and I didn't see any dunks. I must have been snoozing due to the closeness of the game.

King you are dead on what a great game LA put on last night. Beat a team by 11 that you beat I think close to 40 early in the year. Either LA is in reverse or PC has the pedal to the medal. You figure it out.

First off I don't have enough money to buy any property of any kind. My whole point is Dunn has scored alot of points in this current successful run that LA is on. Team concept is great, but if it works don't fix it. LA has won a pretty good percentage the last 3 years so where has the focus on TEAM been. Is Dunn not part of the team? All good teams have stars or it seems that way to me. The positive thing is he has a good surrounding group of players. Maybe up2late and you can define team a little deeper as well as jealousy. OBVIOUSLY, I don't understand either. Thanks for any help.

I don't understand this team stuff. The team seems to be doing well. If LA was losing,that would be one thing but every LA fan knew the scoring record would finally be broken if Dunn didn't get hurt. It doesn't seem to be distracting for the team. I think they have only lost one game. I agree rabbit. I think the only reason he asked to come out was because it was Livingston. He doesn't get tired against anyone else because they are the only ones who run. If he could play fresh, it would be awesome what he could do.
