  1. your doc is so right on the money,,, swine flu symptoms are less severe... i hope i didnt offend catmando... my apologies,,,, just sooooooo much bull out there for the public... seen alot sick kids with flu,,, which was it??? dont know.. after all treatment is the same unless high risk or pregnant.. Have to say is SC plays like they did against White House,,, well CC will get beat solid,,, if not,,, then pretty good game..... Which SC team will show up for the game is the question?? how should i be offended?
  2. I just want to note that if someone has the " swine flu" for 24 hrs,,, then it isnt the swine flu... Like the "regular" flu. swine flu lasts 7 to 10 days and a person feels like " crap" most of those days.. Any " flu" thats lasts only 24 hrs is a mere "bug'... just ask all these kids in Smith Co that have had the "real" swine or regular flu!!! Please excuse my ignorance.
  3. livingston better be ready.
  4. were you actually diagnosed with swine flu or tested positve for type "a" flu? i am no dr. either as most type "a" flu positive tests are swine flu but not always. either way glad it didnt last long. as far the game i like smith county at home.

  11. I want to Congratulate McMinn Central on an outstanding season. As many of you feel your season came up short, don't let that one loss (a tough one at that) take away from what your team has accomplished. I saw the game and proud LA won, but your young ladies showed sportsmanship during the game and after the game shaking hands. Coach Morgan as I am sure hurting appeared very gracious as well with Coach Smith at the end of the game in what appeared to be very congratulatory. Nice reflection on all as I want to believe that it comes from the home too. Be proud of your girls and cherish the things they did this season. Lady Wildcats, you girls played well and I thought you carried yourselves very well and showed good sportsmanship as did Coach Smith. Good luck to you the rest of the way! Go LA!
  12. It was a huge win for our girls vs. MC the other night. Our girls have played in more than one big game this year. Won some, lost some but no doubt battle tested. I could be wrong but I don't think that "bug" will determine the outcome of this game with Martin-Wesiview. But, outside of LA's players, coaches, and fans, some think we don't belong and the game must be played. I believe we do and our girls believe in themselves. Coach Smith has done an outstanding job this season and it has been nice watching this team grow as the season progressed through all the tough luck, adversity, injuries, scheduling and so forth to see them where they are today. Good luck today Lady Wildcats! We are proud of you girls because "WE ARE? LA!"
  13. There are many of us who have been around the game 25, 30+ years. While I agree that inconsistency is part of the package as you put it, there is no way that this team has come close to playing "up to their potential" except once and that was the HOF game with North East. Dunn (which by the way I love this kid) is playing with "senioritis" or something, but he's not playing to what I have been accustomed to seeing the previous three seasons. Ramsey should be tearing people up but hasn't. Peterman has stepped up his game, I'll give him that. West has been a "no show" much of the early season offensively and has not been the defensive machine he was a year ago. T.J. Smith is lighting up the open jumpers but seems skiddish to take to the hole, and you can't find him on the defensive end. Poston, Jackson, both Meltons, Key (freshman), Wilson are doing well off the the bench. But this team is a far cry from where it could or even should be. Not trying to be a downer here but I see much more than whats lying on the surface at this point in the season. We are no where near tournament ready. This team can play "up to their potential" more than they are doing.
