The Dawgs looked very impressive against Watauga. They didn't go full 11-on-11, but I thought Hampton pretty much had their way with them. In the 7-on-7's, Hampton broke about 6 or 7 TD runs, and I can only remember Watauga having 1 TD run. They just couldn't move the ball on Hampton's front 7. TJ Lyons seemed like he was in the backfield every play. Watauga's coach was even congratulating him at one point. Taylor broke some long runs and I don't think anybody can stop Edwards from gaining at least 5 yards. He's huge and always falls forward. Price looked very good at RB too. Impressive showing... i cant wait till the 28th johnson co will have a game on there hands

They start with the jr high stuff first, the jr high games start at 7oclock. Varsity shoud start about 8. tomorrow should be good for all teams involed to see what they will look like this year

Good to hear from you SEVEN, Hampton is deffinately going to be a better team this season, but I see several strong teams in their classifacation this season. I'd have you guys at ,or very close to the top. Boyd is a team that scares me quite a bit. Come playoff time ,someone is going to have to run the gauntlet. Maybe ,I'll get to watch you guys again this season. the scrimmage against watauga will be a test

Lake Co should have a good team..Theres a star player from Fulton City Ky that got into a couple altercations last year in Kentucky..pretty sure he won't be allowed to play there..His mother lives in Lake Co..If he were to come to Lake Co...would pretty well make Lake Co the favorite for the gold ball with the players they have returning..But word I had last night was Cisco had worked some magic..that he was probly going to move to Union City and play for Union City..If true..Union City moved ahead of the pack more than likely..! hampton will go to state they have five juniors that could start right now

Hampton was without 4 starters and they dominated. Shows they have some quality depth or even some new starters. Depth is going to be a plus for this years team. i cant wait for Aug.28th johnson co wont no what hit them

The good thing for Mario if he comes back is that Hampton still has 3 weeks before the first game.He could be a big asset. I also hear that logan Shell has looked really good since returning. Also heard some new kid was playing that was a heck of a blocking back. I guess it will all get sorted out in the next 3 weeks. Alot of comp for starting jobs. Taylor Edwards wasnt there tonight but Bradly Mizzel stepped up and did a good job at blocking back

West Greene is no longer the whipping post of east tennessee. I'd say Hampton will be ready by season time. Hard to judge a team by a scrimmage. we didnt scrimmage W.G. some one told that guy wrong

hampton is young but should be 1st in conference play. they have several players back from last year plus the transfer from nc. i don't think they have what it takes to make it past far past district. what makes you think they wont make it pass district. they won it last year

just like last years girls team. they didnt go undefeated but they turned heads at the state turny.

Beter than last years team,got alot of senior and the kids have worked hard, got a bigger line,a couple of big play makers and some power to go with them. The schedule is tougher this season but I still expect them to go about 7 and 3. Looks like a good year for Roan Mt what three games will they lose?
