I agree might be more, East does not have good guard play whenever Wiseman is one on one the ball should go inside not shooting wild three’s! Bearden guards are going to have a field day on east!

Yes, this team don’t give up but needs to put a team away when they have the chance! CA will be a very discipline team but want have the dominant inside present like McKenzie! I think we should play ensure that we don’t let them shoot all those 3’s & earn every point! Humboldt should have a big crowd tomorrow!!

I hope you are right, it will be a hard game and need to be mistake free to get a win! Humboldt played better but I hate when we try to stall ball instead of continuing to attack!

LOL, are you serious???? Number 20 got a lot of easy lay ups (12 points in 1st quarter) and wasn't the best player on team. So, you telling me #20 would have been able to beat the press please except the fact that Humboldt turned the defense up & wore Fayetteville players down? I guess Humboldt gets no credit for coming back from 15 & winning by 12, REALLY!

I think Humboldt will rebound & play better, really the 1st quarter they got out rebounded by 21 and in one (1) possession Fayetteville got seven (7) offensive rebounds which was the reason Humboldt was down 21-6 after first quarter. Also, Humboldt could not hit anything and scored the lowest all season for a half, 17 points. The second half the Vikings turned up the pressure defense & hit the boards going on a 48-28 run to win the game by 12 points. Fayetteville had a big team, 6'7, 6'6, 6'4, 6'2 & 5'10 and very athletic but once Coach Abernathy saw that they really didn't have any strong ball handlers, Vikings went to a press and it was over from there. The score was 21-6 after 1st quarter, 25-17 2nd, 45-45 3rd & final 65-53 just to show that Humboldt started settling down and the 1st quarter was the only quarter Humboldt got out scored. Humboldt started speeding the game up, going on a 48-28 run in second half and you could tell Fayetteville was running out of gas. Defense wins game when your offense is not always clicking so I know the Vikings will come out ready to play.

If, my Vikings starts the game off like they finished the second half last night, Vikings by 10! I think they will wear McKenzie down especially the guards! Humboldt is on a mission & will be focused!!!!

So, I guess Humboldt defense didn’t have nothing to do with the game, Humboldt missed so many shots and only scored 17 points first half! Also, Humboldt didn’t box out first half & giving up easy lay ups! Humboldt shut down middle with press & hit the boards and Fayetteville couldn’t handle the press in the fourth quarter which was the difference! Fayetteville, also was tired the fourth quarter and didn’t no one want to handle ball during press! Great season Fayetteville but Vikings shut down number 0 & 23 second half only giving up 28 points & scoring 46!

Right, missing to many easy shots and not rebounding but only down eight (8) at halftime 27-19! Humboldt only gave up 6 points scored 13 but missed a lot of easy baskets! I still have faith in my Vikings in second half!

Want be a surprise because they are at the state tournament for a reason so just got to be ready to play four (4) quarters! The team that shows up to play will win so which team will!!!

Well, state tournament starts tomorrow & Humboldt plays Thursday and just need to stay focus! Humboldt must play team defense & continue to spread the ball around on offense! I don’t know much about Fayetteville but I don’t think they have played a team with overall team quickness, Athleticism & speed that Humboldt has! I’m going with Humboldt by seven (7) points pulling away in fourth quarter!

Humboldt needs to play good defense and continue to spread the ball around if they can do this I like their chances! I’ve heard Fayetteville has two (2) good players but it will take a team effort to beat the Vikings hopefully the Vikings will come to play!

I’m going to go with the Vikings, I think they are on a mission and have played a tough schedule this year! I don’t know much about Fayetteville but they have to be good to make it to the state tournament! If, the Vikings show up & play like they are capable, the Vikes by six (6) points! Vikings need to play good defense & stay out of foul trouble should be a good game!

2013 was Humboldt last state championship so it's time for the Vikings to re-focus and get ready to play some ball at the Glass house!!!

it happen in 2009, the best game of the single A tournament with Manassas winning with a 3 at buzzer & going on to blow everybody else out, that should have been the championship game.

Yes, that's what always happens but you still got to play no matter who it is.

Yes, a great game overall until Humboldt started holding the ball instead of attacking and putting MAHS away. MAHS was very well coached team with a lot of size & didn't quit, this game will only help the Vikings for whoever they draw. Got to win them all if you want a Gold ball, leave it all on the court.
