Hardin Valley Academy will be hosting a scheduling meeting on Tuesday April 16th in the library for any school who wishes to attend. There have been 18 schools confirmed attendance from Region 2 AAA, Region A-AA, Region 3 AAA. There is a current opening at Hardin Valley Academy in Knoxville for Head Wrestling Coach. Young team, lots of resources, good community support, and good facilities. Former head coach stepped down to focus on masters degree and family and is in the building to help with the program. There will more than likely be a teaching position available but not sure which ones yet, core subjects (math, science, english, social studies). To apply you must go to knoxschools.org and apply online under classified positions, they can not interview you unless you apply online.

DIVISIONS: FRESHMEN BOYS- THE FRESHMEN BOYS DIVISION IS RESERVED FOR TYPICAL FRESHMEN. Hardin Valley Academy, located in Knoxville, TN is currently searching for an assistant wrestling coach. Teaching positions in Math, English, and Social Studies are going to be available and possibly some others. You do not have to teach to apply for the coaching position, but there are spots open if you do teach. This is a paid coaching position. Hardin Valley defeated Knox West 40-39 on tie breaker h (2nd year in a row, last year Knox West won) most first match points scored 15-10.

Region 2 Duals at West Round 1 (must win to advance to Round 2, and earn birth to State Duals) HVA vs Knox Catholic West vs Knox Halls Round 2 (both qualify for State Duals) Winner of each wrestles for Championships Weigh In are at 5:30 and Wrestling begins at 6:30.

Double dual between Seymour, Hardin Valley, Bearden, South Doyle @ Seymour was canceled this morning.

Hardin Valley defeated Cumberland Co, 54-22 HVA is 5-3 in duals. Next up is Knox West and Powell at HVA 6:30pm.
