i just do not see stone changing their whole basketball style mid-season. yes it would make them a better team but that doesnt mean its that easy. i thought that the #10 for loudon did an outstanding job controlling the tempo of the game and shot really well... with that being said loudon is a tough place to win at so i think loudon will get the sweep and will hold 1st place in the district heading into tournaments. not saying stone cant win at the tournaments but i dont think that this game was a coincident... loudon seemed in better shape and had the ability to slow down or speed up the game at will.... i am not a coach and have never claimed to be but can someone explain something to me.... how come when kristin hit three straight threes she comes out of the game??? or why taylor is on the bench in the fourth quarter??? did these girls tap out because of fatigue or is this strategy by the coach?

stone seemed to of been out classes in every phase of the game.. it was close early but loudon's shooter (#20) don't kown the names of the loudon girls but she didn't even play most the first half because of foul trouble. stone girls are going to have a tough time pulling off another district championship

i think if the girls would start the game early with a post presence it would open up the three later and add some balance to their offense but like everyone says on here the great basketball mind coach smith will figure it out later

it goes both ways... throughout the game it could be a good thing to have that kind of balance but late in the game i still like to have someone who has had the experience of having the ball in late game situations. i think fox is the only one on the team that has that kind of ABILITY but whether its used or not is still to be decided

i really dont think u can compare stone to clarkrange or jackson... i would love for you to go to a stone girls practice and then go to a clarkrange practice... and as for destiny... good player,very versitle but not a great leader... i have sat behind the bench where she comes off the court complaining and blaming everyone but herself... i think it should be obvious to any real basketball fan that stone girls have been underacheiving when they go down at state in the first round....... two years ago a marshall team with no seniors beats stone, yes i believe marshall went to the finals but that should of been stone girls in the finals... last year... stone girls let one girl beat them at state... i think the most of the problems start on the practice court...stone girls are as TALENTED as anyone in the state but when they are playing an "open gym" style of offense all the time its not going to work against other good teams

ha key players are whoever feels good that night... one night you will get fox going for 15-20 then kiser for about 20-25 or sherrill for 15-20 ... but they never seem to click on the same night so not much planning you can do for the team they are experienced but still inconsistent at times but have a GREAT coach in mike buck expect a fundamental team that will play hard from start to end stone wins easily... 15+ too much size for loudons young team

im going to say loudon gives stone all they want... so would seymour and fulton.. and lets face it... smith is the only girl not scared to go down low and get physical no the girls wont give her the ball but without her they lose any toughness on the court, and the coach dont seem to run any offense so it doesnt matter if you call destiny a post or guard cause they all just run around and whoever can see the goal throws a three up... which works great until your not head and shoulders more athletic than the opponent...HINTS THE STATE GAMES

york runs a pretty nice offense but that defense is way to weak. they sit back in a zone and apply no pressure, the players can stand there and decide when and what they want to do then make a pass, york also just did not have the athletes to keep up with stone. best i have seen stone shoot the ball all year
