All he does is name drops, he doesn't have a great understanding of the game, and goes around to same schools every year.

I have mix feelings about this hire. I enjoyed playing for Coach Whipple, but he just went to a coaching graveyard. Why would he go to a school that fires their head coach after a state tournament run? I understand wanting to be the guy in charge, but Franklin would not be on my list. Unrealistic parents and terrible administration never leads to good things.

You lost all credibility when you said Wharton was not a division 1 DB, what position do you think he has offers from multiple BCS schools at?

Honestly it shows the TSSAA does not care what the coaches think. The majority of coaches did not like the current system, but since administrators do then we will keep it. The transportation argument doesn't hold water with me because you still have 5 away games, and most fans will travel no matter the distance.

If Indy can scored 14 points a game then they will be very successful. Wharton is worth 7 pts a game.

7 on 7 helps teams learn to compete, condition, and work on the passing game. Bubber is either a Ravenwood or Franklin fan who was too scared for a little competition. That's why at the end of the year both teams will be at the bottom of the standings.

I don't know if they even finish play this morning. I know they had a 3 hour rain delay then some teams left while others stayed. Very messy Saturday.

Page went 2-4 yesterday losing to some quality opponents. I heard one coach will be leaving for sure and it will be a big loss for the Patriots and Coach Rathbone.

I have not seen Pearl Cohn here at the tournament. I have seen Hillsboro and East Lit from metro.

Just got back from 7 on 7 and man did Vic Wharton look good. He had 6 picks in 6 games. Best player in the district hands down. Back to Back district champs sounds good right now.

Really disappointed only two teams from the district will be at the Vandy 7 on 7. I guess everyone else is scared of a little competition.

Talked to a friend who was one of my former coaches and now is an administrator. Apparently the 6 class system is going to stay, it seems the coaches are in favor to go back to the 5 class system but administrators are in favor of the six. However it is a tight vote right now and it will take one vote to swing to the 5 class system.

I did a little research and I may have to come out to the Fairview scrimmage. I found the highlight film for their WR named Deondre Moore and man is he electric. I hope to see him matched up against Wharton. Man that will be worth the gas money to the scrimmage.

Fairview?? Why would we scrimmage a little town like that? Should we not step up and play someone elite? Are we playing Summit in the jamboree?
