UC defense has been successful against mediocre at best offenses. Expect to see the offense of GC to control the game tempo.

Well any topic regarding UC is always met with sensitivity and backlash but I have no fear of that so I will accept the backlash of sensitivity ..... GC wins this game if they remain focused. They have been playing very well and coming off a quality win against in county rival Peabody, that focus could become blurred. However I think the GC coaching staff will keep this team heading in the same direction that will result in another victory for the Pioneers. GC wins this game 24-6 over UC. I actually don't think UC scores in this one but give the six for a potential breakaway offensive play early or defensive score.

I'm sure they are watching film on the UC/TCA game to see what was effective at keeping UC out of the end zone UC for 3 qtrs.

My point is you could only manage 2 short field scores in the first qtr of last nights game, zero points in the remaining 3 qtrs, all of which played against a defense that is in the bottom half of teams in the region and proven this season to be very susceptible to a running offense. So my point is obvious, there is no balance and currently minimal success. I'm sure UC will experience great success in the future as tremendous athletes come through that are unstoppable in a single dimension offense.... in the meantime current players who could probably experience more success in a more balanced strategy will always fall short of expectations handicapped by a dinosaur offensive strategy.

The value of good coaching should never be underrated.

It is hard to change up a game plan when you have been so dominant, obviously last nights game needed a different approach that was overlooked. Knowing many of the coaches of Peabody I doubt that level of comfort returns this season and expect a each game to get individual attention as they do deserve.

Yeah, that is some pretty dumb stuff right there..... first off good HS coaches don't care about the feelings of anyone nor should they. Sounds more like some made up garbage by some mummy or poppy type.

They also told me the big kid at RB either needs to have the ball running north/South every 3rd play at minimum or be at a lineman position. Very poor utilization.

Wayne Co. knows what is coming and not looking forward to it.

My scouts at this game advised that TCA needs a new strategy on offense from the top down and UC really should consider joining the 21st century of offensive play. UC was fortunate the TCA defense gave up points in the 1st because it just didn't happen after that. UC Qb was very efficient at running the option offense early until TCA had enough first hand time to get adjusted to the style which became less effective once adjustments were made and may have become slightly hesitant once the number of hits endured increased. Overall a defensive clinic by both teams against two lackluster offenses.

No doubt there will be a running clock. It is just a matter of will it begin during the 2nd qtr or right after halftime.

UC has a mostly one dimensional offense to deal with, strong run game and option play. UC's pass defense is going to struggle with TCA's passing game.
