I had the pleasure to coach Lauren when she was young (4th grade) I think. I had a little travel team and she was the youngest on it. I knew that she was going to continue to work hard and become a good player. I have to say that most kids who start out at a young age above average dont work and just let everyone else catch up. It's great to see and here of some locals who have worked and see it pay off. Lauren best of luck to you. It's been a long time since DCHS has had a player like you. Work hard in college, listen and continue to get better, be willing to learn and continue to be a good person.
