  1. cheering teammates on is great, but there is a right and wrong way to do it. when you start chanting and hitting bats against metal poles (yes i have seen a team do it) it becomes bush league. just cheer on your players in a respectful way, not one that gets on everyone's nerves and the game will be much better.
  2. that is one thing lebanon's coach has done well at this year is he has kept the same lineup the entire season. in previous years he has moved ppl around a lot when they struggle and so forth but with nine seniors this year, keeping them in a solidified spot has kept the players confident. lebanon still has not hit to their full potential. so far its been at different times some will struggle, and others will pick them up. but if that whole lineup can start hitting each and every game, then look out. there will be even more runs scored then they score already.
  3. both teams have been playing well recently, who is your pick to win it?
  4. Lebanon improved to 6-0 in the district winning over white co. today. pretty good game throughout, final was 7-3. lebanon got 3 in the first inning and led the whole way. they could've still played much better overall as a team though, a few players are still struggling hitting. but they play gallatin tonight so hopefully they'll break out.
  5. to be honest i was expecting better, but it was nice for being a first year field and will progress into a very nice field in the next year or so.
  6. well lebanon lost 10-0. mj pitched their number one, and lebanon of course was saving their pitching for the district game tomorrow. plus their two main district pitchers are already burnt from tuesday and wednesday. but lebanon still only got 3 hits so mj simply out-played em. but a great pitching performance by Taylor Haydel, held lebanon hitless until the fifth. hats off to mj, maybe these two teams can meet up later on down the road.
  7. lookin forward to the Rebel Classic next weekend!! who is yalls pick to win it?
  8. i have no problem at all with the current schedule, so yes. you can't try and make every weather condition perfect for baseball, cause if you do you're taking away from the game. anyone can play when its 70 degrees and sunny outside, but playing in rougher conditions separates the good teams from the great teams.
  9. sorry about your games getting rained out, but no one can predict the weather in tn, and moving the schudules back 2 weeks isn't gonna make it stop raining. you have just as good a chance of getting those games in right now as you will in mid april and may. so saying that the rain will be gone if we wait two weeks more just isn't a good reason to push everything back. maybe u should invest in a tarp. they work wonders. we're playing tonight, and two games tomorrow after all that rain.
  10. scheduled for tonight at 7. are they still gonna be playin tonight after all that rain? and if so, who is your pick to win?
  11. dexter cross at lebanon has a great arm. throws ppl out left and right, and has great throws to pick ppl off at first also. anyone who has played against him knows not to get too far off.
  12. thats true. they're both great players. i can't wait for the lebanon blackman series. should be a good one.
  13. yeah he can. i haven't heard much out of bowers this year yet. is sisco just stealin all his glory or has he been struggling or what?
  14. yeah sisco at blackman just doesn't miss mistake pitches. and when he hits em, they go a long way.
  15. i will. from hearing about the riverdale series it sounds like its gonna be a good game. we're just gonna have to jump on em early and try to keep it going.
  16. i think that would be a safe assumption lol.
  17. yep and then they play gallatin that night. both games are at lebanon.
  18. Lebanon beat Siegel last night 6-0, but neither team really swung the bat that well until Lebanon started to in the 7th. Craig Gann pitched a great game for the blue devils, getting the complete game. Siegel's starting pitcher Jordan Sims threw very well also, keeping the blue devils to only one run the whole game and not giving up many hits. lebanon was just able to jump on him in the 7th and then siegel brought in another lefty who walked some ppl and then gave up a couple big hits. great game by both teams and especially to both starting pitchers. lebanon has a make up game against white co. this saturday, and then cookeville next week.
  19. lebanon finished the series by sweeping seigal. they won yesteday 6-0.
  20. Lebanon gets the sweep over Siegel winning 6-0. pitchers duel all the way with lebanon leading only by 1 the whole game, but then broke away in the seventh.
  21. i think blackman should at least top five in the state. they hit the crap outta the ball. and lebanon could probably be moved up a spot or two.
  22. Lebanon took the first one 15-5. both teams had lots of hits, with Siegel hitting 2 home runs. Lebanon was just able to get the timely hits, take advantage of a couple of mistakes early on by Siegel and not leave runners stranded. Siegel got 3 in the first, but Lebanon stayed up and came back scoring runs in every inning i think. Chase Hudson pitched a great game for Lebanon, and defense was solid. Look for both teams to play well tonight at Siegel to finish off the series!
  23. Could a plus member please fix a couple things on Lebanon's schedule: someone put lebanon losing to watertown-that game was never played. they put them beating upperman-that game was never played. and someone also put them tying with harriman and that game was never played. thank you.
  24. I look forward to a great series between these two teams. Lebanon started swinging the bats again against Bearden this weekend, so if they can keep that going and their pitching can continue the way it has been, look for them to take it. But they're gonna have to get run support.
  25. ok thanks. just wondering cause the field should be ready to go, i actually thought it was playable today.
