Completely agree! Wasn't saying she is playing bad. Just said that she has the talent to being even better and that could mean good things for GC with the way Wilkins has the young girls playing.

Hearing a lot about Chloe Moore from greenfield. I know she was a stud in middle school. Ready to see them play GC and see how she does when Smithson is in her pocket all night. She can really frustrate the best players. Held Mayberry to 4 points I believe Tuesday night. Also hoping justyce white gets going a little better. Been struggling a little as the primary scorer seeing a ton of double teams.

I think Gibson has definitely exceeded expectations so far. They have been competitive in every game. The young girls are really improving. Very young team outside of the 2 seniors pretty much everyone else is sophomores and freshman. If they continue to improve they may have a chance at making a run in district and region possibly.

Lol that's crazy! You find every chance you can to down GC. We had the lead by 1 with under 2 minutes left. SG is a good team and deserved it but saying they were the best team by far is you trying harts to dismiss GC.

Disagree. Looked like 2 really good teams that rely on good defense and it showed.

I agree. SG and PC both looked better in first round games. I think slot of that was both of them had experience playing here last year and GC didn't. A lot of nerves early from GC and missed open shots. Still says a lot about a team being down 15 in the 3rd and coming back and winning. I expect to see us come out sharper today.

Great game. Not hard at all to see why Bouldin is miss basketball. She does so much more than score for her team. Got up by 13 in the 3rd but we fought back. Van buren is much more than a one player show. 10 shoots the lights out! Proud of our girls for not giving up.

Yep.... Not much info on Van buren it seems. I'm going to say GC by 5. 50-45.

What are Van Burens threats outside of Bouldin? GC has 3 girls that can put up 20pts on any night in White, Fields and Lannom. And Smithson will always guard the best player on opposing team and usually scores 5-10 points.

It will be a good matchup to watch Smithson defend miss basketball finalist. She has taken the challenge for the past month guarding the best player on opposing team and really embraces that role.

She is impressive for sure. But I think #21 defense wore her out in 2nd half and that's when we were able to pull away along with Lannom making some shots. Fields and white were both steady the entire game.

Ok. Since that's the comparison we are making. Look at both teams games against Liberty. GC wins by 30+ both games and Middleton won both games by single digits. I'm not at all saying GC will beat Middleton. They are very impressive obviously. But you can't just compare one common opponent and decide from that.

Not goin to say our district is not down. But GC did play a very tough schedule outside of district. Much tougher than last year. Once you get to glass house anything can happen. But first gotta get revenge on riverside
