You know what's horse%$^@, CIM? Throwing a game like Obion did tonight. People missed church and had to pay money to see that mess. It was completely embarrassing. Westview's game plan was ingenious. Oh, I get it, maybe they need to recruit like the others??? Why don't you and sls figure a way to beat Gibson since all you want to do is hammer Westview. At least they were honest and played their hearts out tonight. the way i see one team didnt want to win and the other didnt think they could win, either way i wouldnt say that either team was really deserving of praise. if your obion, you dont know who is going to win the championship, so why not try to gain some momentum and win tonight, and westview return basically the same team from the state semis and felkt they had to resort to stalling to have a chance to beat gc. all in all i think tonight proves that everybody in 13aa still feels that gc is the best team. that being said, any of these three teams have a legitamate shot at making a run and winning it all.

your right, i'll be the first to say i didnt give la enough credit before the game. they remind me alot of this gc team with their heart and determination. their defense was far and away the best we have faced this year and although i feel that butler was fouled about every time she got into the lane she was held to 12 points. i would have bet money that we would lose with her only scoring 12. griffin and reedy really stepped up with gardner makin some big shots also. this was a great example on the saying "defense wins championships". we were not able to hit shots all weekend but we used our pressure d to create the offense and get some confidence going.

agreed well good luck to yaw too but i would be lyin if i said that it was a good game if we lose lol jk may the best team win

i'll agree that they played with alot more intensity than in the regional champ. as i think westview came in thinking they had no chance. i'll give ya that. we played one of the best games all year when we beat them in district tourney( i will say if we play like that i see nobody beating us) but that being said we are all just fans supporting our team with hopefully no hard feelings and the girls will be the one to settle it. la is very capable of beating gc but i just feel this is the year for us bc we are putting teams away when we need too

we have yet to play as good as we did in the regional tourney. that being said butler has gotten into the lane on anybody and everybody and i seripously doubt the la defense is that much better

you do realize that we beat the team you played today four times??? i really don think you could bc rechis will get hers 75% of the time and if shew would have today they would have won.

well i would really hate to know what it took to impress you. i mean a twenty point victory in the state semis is usually considered pretty impressive. i mean if thats what you go by then what do you think we got from your game?? you struggled mightily with a team we have beat four team with the last two being blowouts

sure, the refs caused them to make all of those turnovers and miss all of those shot. the refs also didn't shoot the ball for gc, it was never a close game for the refs to lose for them

there is a reason that la made it here. they have beaten very good teams and they are a very good team. that being said gc has been on a completely different level of any of their competetion so far. but thats why they play the game

pretty sure it was 04 when gc came in undefeated as well but livingston came away with the win. this gc team looks much better and rolling through the postseason beating westview easily (33 and 24 i believe) in the district and region championship, the team that made it to the final four of the tourney

looks like that speed bump turned into a road block huh?? i'm pretty sure gibson didn't even have to slow for the wanna be speed bump called south greene

it really amazes me how you give the west tn teams no chance, you say it takes a good team to get this far and there are two teams from 13aa in the final four of the state. they did what they had to do and they are now there wheree everyone wants to be at this time of the year. lets make it an all district 13aa state championship!!!!!!!!!!!

great game by the big three with 27, 22, and 16. hopefully they can keep it going and the other girls can get their shots to fall

the south greene gibson game should be a really up tempo game as both teams pressed alot today. not sure if south greene wil change their gameplan but gc will not. it could very likely end up being the team with the most depth taking it

i'm looking forward to this game. nobody really expected westview to beat elizabethton but rechis willed them to the win. i am going to be pullin for the view in this one. i'll say westview by 4 and hopefully gcpioneer is right and it'll be an all 13aa state championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really believe that people are not giving gc enough credit for their schedule its not the best but it is better than most and they dominated it. that being said south greene looked good today but gc's advantage in going to be in the post, not only posting up but running the floor. they made several layups by beating the bolivar players down the floor. also gc,s guards other than butler will need to do a better job of hitting the open shot. they had a chance to really put bolivar away early but they couldn get the three's to fall. i would be willing to guess that this is one of the worst shooting games of the year for them(17% from three)

your right if a team makes it this far they are good. but i yhink what he is saying is that you all are assuming that mcminn is automatically the team to beat up, and they very well may be, but what makes them the team to beat rather than say livingston who doesnt have the good lookin record but they did beat the upperman team at their gym, the same upperman team that gave mcminn all they wanted. just because a team is undefeated doesn't mean they are automatically the best team. that being said i dp feel that mcminn will make it to saturday along with gibson county hoppefully, but this is not the first time gc has brought an undefeated team to the boro so they know that nothing will be given to them
