The coach has taken Porltand back to the stone ages. He could only beat single A teams at his old school before he got FIRED and that is all he can beat now. As far as college, hah, you are kidding yourself. It is not very smart to spread false reports. All because someone gets invited to a weak tryout that is not interest, that is a bone. The closest to a college field you will see is watching from the stands. This whole season you and your comments have been a joke. You know nothing about baseball, good coaching or leadership. As long as JP is head coach the program will be bad.

the guys on the team that are not playing because they have no family that are friends of jimmy, past school mates of jimmys or just don't kiss up enough aren't having a great time....

won 3 scrimmages !!!! first win against single a trousdale co that had starters still playing basketball, second win against very weak macon co. team, third win against single a east robertson {if they don't have a stud pitcher that is going to some big time college they are weak at best.) good things ahead they have at least 7 games againest single a schools that should help boost their record.

so what you are saying is that when he was winning in a weak A district he didn't play the kids with money and when he was losing in a weak AA he was. sounds like a excuse...it happens everyday right...that is why Goodpasture, DCA and BGA just to name a few struggle. If you don't think money and politics can get your kid on the field at a non private school your head is in the sand. And as you said this coach did do this in the past so what makes you think these questionable ethics won't happen again ?

BGA is the best.. Coach M has done a great job not only on the field but with the program

It looks as if you guys need to go ahead a book your rooms for the spring fling. About the new coach, why did he get fired from his old school ? (I would think if you where that good you wouldn't get fired. It's tough to lose your job in the education sysyem) Most of his wins came when he was coaching a week A region, and couldn't win in a weak AA district. Look back as see how many state championship have been won in his new district since the late 1990's up until now. I am still wondering why he didn't reschedule a district game last year ??? The only thing he has going for him this year is that the district is down. Good Luck
