  1. Congratulations to Centerville on a great comeback. Keep your heads up East Hickman, you guys have nothing to be ashamed about, you did your best. Some big mistakes were made and hopefully lessons will be learned, and changes will be made. .
  2. Thanks for the support Ddaddy......... evidently this guy has nothing better to do with his time. we will see how far His School goes when they play teams the same size. We are proud of our team and the kids that play . We knows how it feels to lose .and lose bad, but the ones that keep trying and never give up are the winners.........ones that get off on belittling another team because they dominated the team ...............is the loser. East will take Marshall 21 -7
  3. East is coming off thier 3rd win. they are looking better each game. Go EAST ! !
  4. Way to go East, keep focused........ big challenge this week.
  5. East will reign victorious............. they will win. If Coach King plays them the smart way,he will win. I think it will be a big win.
  6. I dont want to get off the game coming friday, but I have to say I am with eagle heart. I seen the game as everyone else did,No way on gods green earth did the kid who got this stupid game ball was even in the realm of deserving a game ball, though not suprised.... A game ball if given,(which I am not so keen on anyway) should be given to the most effective kid out there, who made the difference, who went over and above. The one who got it has been the coaches pet,..............must be working on the new Coach as well. It makes me kinda frustrated to see him or any other get glorified for doing nothing to validate the deed. The team won the first 2 games, TEAM, Game balls will drag a team down, starts individualism, anybody who is close to the team knows there is that one who is all about....me...me...me. now it makes things worse. I love to see veritas on here talking as a human instead of stupid riddles, now he has advice to give instead of a profit, Congrats to East on the first 2 wins, hope many more. I am 100% East supporter, Ilike the new Coach , but if your going to walk on a thin line with your teams morale....get it right.
  7. It will be a good game , I look for a win at home for the Eagles , It is still going to be a tough season, and a very tough schedule, but the bright side is, I see some wins this year, the new system is tough to learn, complicated, but it works. East defense will be the factor, if they give 100% and are conditioned to keep the tempo up, it will be good for East.
  8. Lets look for a good year for the kids at East. good luck with Stewart County at the Jamboree
  9. Whether you like it or not it is fact........plain and simple. If I did not hit spell check I am sorry, I do not thrive on knowing about those kind of people ,and I care less about how to spell it. Now since your out of town as you say and want to capitalize on "yesterdays" article written by the County derelict and his poorly written cheapshot he tried to take at the Middle School Coach. Nobody cares about this malingerer and his warped opinion. It does not take a rocket scientist to see his motive. He is still jealous as always. He is and always has been on the outside looking in......wishing he could be in. If you knew this guy and what he is all about you would not be praising him,you are really far away aint ya.
  10. From what I see alot of this was brought on by the Coach himself, Parents are Parents........they have opinions as any other person, but for all the people who want to blame disgruntled parents, sometimes they are right,............ they were right in having issues with last years baseball Coach, He turned out to be as everyone thought. Now he will be going where he belongs.....JAIL. Does everyone know who got this pedofile the Baseball job at East Hickman????? can someone make an Educated guess????
  11. lets just hope the best for the kids..they have been thru enough already.
  12. I am not one who focus on wins. Just a drama free season would suit me fine.
  13. Nobody knows , any talk is only speculation. Like I stated before there may be other Coaches that would be good as well. One thing Coach Harris has that the others dont is that he has proven himself in the East Hickman area, he lives in the community, worships in the community, works in the community and he knows 97% of the kids on the team and he has coached all of them in Middle School, Just because he is a Middle School Coach does not make him less better than the others that have been on the High School Stage. He is no dummy, he has found ways to win when the cards are stacked against him, just smart coaching. I know Coach Harris and the things he has in his court that will make a difference right away is, the kids believe in him, he will get 70 plus kids on the team just because they want to play for him. this is a reciepe for sucess in my book. Whoever gets the job,I support them and hope they can bring a good program to East Hickman.
  14. Rewis will be a good choice, will he fit in to this community??? That would remain to be seen. I think Harris will be actually the best choice for the job, he has been in this community, he lives here in this community,he has had sucess in this Community with the teams he has coached, he has coached all these kids in Middle School, and for all the disgruntled jealous coaches on here who make up crazy screen names and take your shots and talk about his mother and his associations with other coaches..get over it. He is a very good Coach who gets results. Many more kids will come to play for him because they like him.
  15. My forefathers fought in wars, they died in wars... my grandfather spent several years in heck in WW2 defending our country............If he was alive today,he would be sickened by people like clintblackfan01 and the highly educated FBCOACH who are making this world and our Country as it is today. Every man who signed our Constitution would never conform to buddhist, muslum, athiest, satanic beliefs, The Constitution was never meant to be twisted and interpreted by the Supreme Court as it has been the last 15 years. This is America, we believe in God. Your offended ? then leave or go somewhere else.
  16. Evidently you are one of those touchy feely people worried about offending anybody. Move to Iran or China, Do you think they will be worried about offending you when they pray? I dont think so, therefore if a Coach wants to Pray with his team, he should be allowed. The Coach may or may not be an agent of the State , but I will tell you one thing, I would rather approach the pearly gates knowing I did the right thing and resisted the athiest imposition on my relationship with God. Than be like yourself and conform to others. Our Country is going downhill, it is people like you who let it happen.
  17. Marshall takes 1 against Page, Giles Splits , East Hickman drops both to Hickman County, Loretto splits .... Just making it Interesting..... more accurate picks will come in about 2 weeks..
  18. They got the schedule messed up on here, they have Page playing Overton yesterday.
  19. They will be strong this year, Experience will show this year. good luck guys.
  20. ??????????????????? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> you have got to be kidding? Navery was nothing but the real deal.... please say you are joking.......lol
  21. WASHINGTON ??” Coach Marcus Borden used to bow his head and drop to one knee when his football team prayed. But the Supreme Court on Monday ended the practice when it refused to hear the high school coach's appeal of a school district ban on employees joining a student-led prayer . The decision on the case from New Jersey could add another restriction on prayer in schools, advocates said. "We've become so politically correct in terms of how we deal with religion that it's being pretty severely limited in schools right now, and individuals suffer," said John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute, a civil liberties organization that focuses on First Amendment and religious freedom issues. But Barry W. Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, said some parents had complained about Borden leading prayers before the East Brunswick, N.J., school district ordered him to stop and banned all staff members from joining in student-led prayer. "The bottom line is people in positions of authority, like a coach, have to be extremely careful about trying to promote their ideas, or implying that if you don't pray, you may not play," Lynn said. The high court without comment refused to reconsider the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' decision upholding the ban. The district established the ban in 2005 after parents complained about Borden, coach at East Brunswick High School since 1983, sometimes leading prayers at the Friday afternoon team pasta dinner or in the locker room before games. Borden said he wanted to show respect for the students engaged in prayer by bowing his head silently and dropping to one knee. The district, Borden argued, was violating his free-speech rights by ordering him to stop action he called secular signs of respect. After the ban, the coach stood at attention for the remainder of the season while the students prayed. Court cites appearance Judge D. Michael Fisher, writing for the Philadelphia appeals court, said Borden's past action of leading the prayers made his head bowing seem inappropriate. "A reasonable observer would conclude that he is continuing to endorse religion when he bows his head during the pre-meal grace and takes a knee with his team in the locker room while they pray," Fisher said. Messages left for Borden and lawyer Ronald Riccio were not returned Monday. "With teachers and students, individual expressions are being limited. There's just a concept out there that religion doesn't belong in schools," said Whitehead, whose group acted as co-counsel for Borden. School employees should avoid looking like they're endorsing religion in any way, said Lynn, whose group represented the school district. "Coaches are not supposed to be promoting religion; that's up to students and parents and pastors," Lynn said.
  22. This makes me sick, now the Supreme court stops the Coaches from praying with thier players? Just because somebody might be offended ? People wonder why this world is going the way it is , Our society is killing itself.
