  1. Seems to be Kyle Kirchem at the moment(being the most consistent) from Cleveland, But his teammate Will pryor beat him last week at Collegedale- Trevor Howarter however ran an excellent race for WV last week winnning first in the B Division at collegedale, but BC and Cleveland were in a different race altogether on that day or the outcome might have been different being that Robison, Pryor. and Kirchem all posted faster times on the same course.BC's Jerome Robison has been right on their heels several times? But C. Morgan from BC has beat Robison twice and Howarter once, and only finished 1 sec. behind Pryor at Baylor, and Haney from BC has beat Morgan and Robison at a couple of Different races??? Its still too early to tell. The girls is a tight race between Clevelands Tiffany Palmer(looking VERY strong) who has won the past few races over BC's Jackie Pickel, but in the end(closer we get to state) Pickel usually prevails(in the past anyways), but WV's freshman Brittany Evans is following close behind, and also WV's Traci McCamis who just came out from soccer and WV's Alyson Butler is not far behind, and in her first year of running ever! All in all there is alot of talent in the Bradley Co. area- Region will definitely be interesting to say the least!
  2. I dont think Runnerboy was trying to put Taylor down. I think he was just as frustrated as the rest of us over hearing all the "junk" on these boards lately. People talk about what they "hear" goes on from other people, and then they all make their speculations and accusations, when no one really KNOWS anything. I guess some people find it amusing to point fingers and try and hurt the reputation of other people. Runnerboy is a good kid and a great competitor- I think he has alot of respect for Coaches that spend endless hours working with their kids, no matter who it may be! Like I said before- Nobody is perfect and everybody has their own way of doing things, if you don't like their ways- then Get out of it!
  3. Lets have enough pride in our school, and OURSELVES to leave the bashing at home, or better yet quit it all together. Nobody is perfect . Everybody is doing the best they can. This is embarressing for the school, parents, and the team.
  4. Just thought I'd start this thread and see if we can get some results tommorrow after the races! Please post hear- Times and Places if possible, Team and individual! Thank You-
  5. Caleb got it right on the finish line of Melton hill last year. 4 BIG deep scars- Still there! I guess the lesson you should learn from that is..................get out far enough ahead and stay there- lol!
  6. Elbows are nothing- How about the spikes you get clawed with- leaving permanent scars down your leg! Its no "childsplay"!
  7. I'll Second that Chief! Collegedale is a great course to watch on- you almost see the whole thing!
  8. Hey where are you? We miss you this season! Whats going on? Call me or e-mail me! codybear67@aol.com
  9. Whatever makes you happy! - Go ahead.......................but be nice!
  10. I don't re-call BCHS ever saying they were going to WIN "STATE"- I think in some irrelevant "smack talking" as boys will do- they defended their teams honor and boasted a vote of confidence for their region. I posted the original post in this thread under Trackandcross's name (sorry he hadn't logged out again)- with no intentions other then finding out how the day went- it wasn't to slam anybody. If we couldn't be at the Classic- Mcminn is who we were rooting for- believe it or not! Sorry your day didnt go as planned for everyone, espicially Runnerboy(R your legs ok?) But on a positive note, sounds like Draino had a GREAT day- Good Job!- Not too shabby for Buckley either. It is still a long time til State- we currently have 3 runners out with injuries- 2 that are crucial and need to hurry up and get back before we run out of time.
  11. Oh and Runnerboy- You don't have to "explain" your Coaches Comments or Actions- He and I both kow it is all in fun- Just another part of the game! But thanx for trying to keep the peace! SMACK, SMACK, SMACK, SMACK, SMACK!
  12. - LOL! You gotta love it- theres no sport like it!
  13. UMMMMMMMMM, I don't know anything about any "Smack Talk"- But I will say this- Ya just never know what will happen from moment to moment--------It could go either way given many different circumstances- (none bad I hope, for either team) As far as last year goes- well...........that was LAST year! A new year has begun(Thank God)! Your 4X800 was great- no "smacking" that- ours was NOT Great, although if Coach had of wanted to put his emphasis on a relay team instead of Individuals- It could have been almost as great anyways! - Still way too soon to be talking Region- another 4 or 5 weeks can make a big difference. No doubt you have the #1 and 2 men- its after that I am waiting to see, but as you said before- itis a fairly weak region with a small number of runners- so it depends alot on 3,4,and 5, and could possibly even go into 6, and 7! I dunno- We might get killed, but I have to have faith and support in the team we are on. GO BEARS!(You Understand-Being a Coach and all)!
  14. Man..........................hmmmm................................I really wished you wouldn't have asked.....................................but, since you did..................................... Bradley girls and Boys placed 5th as a team! Pickel placed 5th for the girls as an individual! Robison placed 11th for the boys, Haney 26th, and Morgan 27th! It really wasn't a very good day. BCHS is swapping places every week from leader to leader. No real consistency right now. Time for somebody to have a MAJOR breakthrough- Thank GOD we still have 2 months til state! Every day of training counts! Oak Ridge Boys and girls looked good- and of course Farragut Girls probably stole the show- it was the way it looked anyways- never did hear any official results on that one- sry! A girl from Powell won it all! Im not sure on the winning time- Im guessing high 19's- and the boys probably mid to low 16's???? Sry I can't be more informative, guess we got caught up in our own little world. Trackncross will be here later and he might can fill you in better! Thanx for asking!
  15. No talking here! To each there own! Everyone has there own way of doing things and yours is obviously a good way, considering your results from last year.(State Champs) But BCHS is a Team, and they run as a Team- Keeps anyone from getting the big head! Well its suppose to.............LOL- some of them do anyways! LOL! They'll all run each other in the only race that matters anyways Best of Luck! Stay Cool!!!
  16. Its definitely not an easy course- I wouldn't imagine any P.R.'s being set at Industrial, but a Great Challenge. Caleb loves to run it-great for goal setting! Its only a mile or so from our house so he is use to it. Sorry you guys won't be coming- but we'll see ya plenty of other places! Good Luck, and Stay Healthy!
  17. I dont think I am at liberty to say- Alot of people have a disguise on here- but if he reads this and wants to divuldge it himeslf- then I am sure he will!
  18. Not a problem- I guess it was a valid assumption- I mean who else would brag on Caleb that way!!! But it really wasn't me! Good Luck! and keep on running!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
  19. You know what they say about people that assume!! This is Calebs mom- and everybody knows my name- even your Coach- its the only name I have or ever have had for about a year so. I know you and Caleb talk- BCHS track1 is not me- but I know who he is and just a BIG BCHS supporter that cares about the team and doesn't realize you and CM like to play mind games with each other! I hear ya though- and thanx for the compliments! Nicole-
