  1. I thought this would be a good spot for everyone to post any exciting results you might have from your meets this week and so on- just a general thread. You can start your own thread with the Title of the meet if you want, or just post it here!
  2. I personally do not represent anyone, but I live in Cleveland, Tennessee where my son runs for A/AA Waker Valley High School. I also root for BCHS, and Cleveland since they are all from this town too!( plus a few "McMinners" I hope all of our runnners do great this season! I presume you are Matt Cowan from FRA? Who does everyone else represent? Post what school your from and what events you or your child, friend, etc............are involved in~ Thanx!
  3. From what area? I wouldnt want to say anything out of line?
  4. Don't forget about Phillip Thompson from Fayette Ware- He has already ran a 4:36 INDOOR earlier in the season!
  5. EARLY being the key word in that sentence. Everybody trains differently, and some may be peaking early while some will peak late- Some may have tapered for their early season openers, some have trained right thru, and aren't worrying about what everybody elses times are right now. Some will pull surprises on everybody, and some will dominate all the way thru! You just never know! ITS WAY TOO EARLY TO TELL anything, in my opinion (which doesn't mean alot) But whittier did look good- I'll hand him that!
  6. Thats kind of like everyone thinking "Sub 4" milers weren't for high school either. Nobody told Alan Webb that! Maybe the time was handheld and a little off ??? Or maybe there wasn't a TSSAA official at this meet either and it couldn't be verified. Or maybe the wind was blowing 50 mph and pushed him right on down the track. (I ran a 11.7 in the 8th grade as a girl- equals about a 12.1 or so, I think for meters) So, I don't think it is that far fetched???
  7. BC has more desire , and that counts for alot. This nucleus of men have been together since junior high, and it's several of them's senior year. They want it bad and have the talent to do it. Go Bradley! Bradey by 4!
  8. Where is everybody? Out training I hope, since this board is so dead! Lets talk a little- liven things up! When is everyones first meet, and where- what events are you doing?
  9. Hey the first meet of ths season is tommorrow- Opening day! Anyone going to the ALLCOMERS Meet at GPS in Chattanooga?
  10. For Informational Purposes ONLY: 2:30 p.m. Alyson and her Mother are on their way to Murfeesburro to watch the Championship games. She called and asked me to please get on here and make a post stating that She is NOT leaving Walker Valley to transfer anywhere! She is Very happey where she is at, she loves her Coach and the other players, and will be ready next year for another shot at State! Go Chargerettes!
  11. HELLO-McMinn Central is playing for a CHAMPIONSHIP tonight- They are EAST TENNESSEE!
  12. OUCH! Good Luck Chargerettes- You've got my vote!
  13. This is so true Indian- everyone just want their kids to be happy and give them what is best! and what people consider the Best are different things!
  14. I believe this is what they said..............................go argue with yourself!
  15. whats everybody's school records in any event?
  16. - Winning the Region Championship has become an annual affair for the Bradley Central boys' basketball team. Head Coach Kent Smith and his Bears captured their fifth straight Region 3-AAA tournament crown Friday night. Bradley Bears 5th consecutive Region Championship! Kent Smith!
  17. I wasn't there- Didn't even see the game, so this is just a guess............simply a guess, maybe FOR ONCE in basketball history they went by something other than points- like rebounds, assists, steals, deflections, etc...................... I dunno-Tamara could have done all of that too- again- I wasn't there. Just wondering?
  18. My opinion- Unless some unforseen hidden talent comes in that nobody knows about. Jackson and Cassda underneath, Dalton on the point and Pickel and Jolley on the wing! But what do I know? I am sure nothing according to some! Could be some more transferring, with a few open spots its been know to happen! Worked out good for Buckalew, maybe some others will follow suit!
  19. I'll agree with that Morris! It will be there last year in AA too, what a perfect ending that would be! Good Luck! (Escpecially for Suzanne, and Mindy)
  20. Beechboard for LA and Butler for WV are hot tonight! Go Lady Mustangs!
  21. Their current gaurd was the Disrict MVP- She has just as much talent just in a different style. She is a big scorer! Don't count her out!
