anyone know the overton score?

Indy's only sophomore with significant Varsity time has not played in the JV tournament. There is one sophomore who has played some varsity due to injuries/illness but not considered a full time starter for the Varsity. He has played every JV game this season. Good luck to everyone today. Should be a great day for baseball!

Brentwood defeated Centennial - not sure of score Brentwood defeated Ravenwood in the bottom of the 7th - not sure of score Indy 16 Ravenwood 5 Indy 18 Centennial 14 ** in 9 innings Indy is #1 seed and Brentwood #2.

Fact check - Indy JV was undefeated during the regular season last year including their games with Overton, undefeated in the JV tournament and offered their field for the championship game with Overton. The offer was declined. No one was officially declared the winner. This years tournament should be an interesting gauge for the future of the district. It appears most teams are bringing all freshman and sophomores including those that play mostly Varsity. So we should get an accurate picture of what is coming up. Post scores if you get them. The majority of Indy parents and players are embarrassed by anything IndyEagle09 ever puts on these message boards!!!! District 11 AAA is a highly competitive baseball district with many talented young men most of which know each other and are friends and teammates on summer teams. Each team, Indy, Franklin, Brentwood, Overton, Ravenwood and Centennial deserve a high respect for their ability to play the game. Do not ever think the "game is a given" when playing any of these teams!! Good luck to each team in this homestretch to districts!

This is true! I don't know the reasoning behind it but the trophy was sitting on the ground still in the box as everyone left the stadium.
