I totally agree with you about the fans and the coaches. Doing this type of stuff only makes yourself look terrible and the kids that are on the field did not deserve bottles thrown at them and I also saw a Wayne co. player pick up one of the bottles and throw it at a JB player. That was the most embarrassing way to close out the season for Wayne Co!!

Football is all about matchups! NCS might not have matched up with Zion as good as other teams have.

The only loss NCS has is to Hillwood (by only 1 point,) a 5A school who has won 3 or 4 games against 5 and 6A schools. NCS out played them the whole game, they went for a 2 point conversion instead of kicking the extra point trying to win the game. If I am right, and I do believe I am South Pit just got beat 42-7 against a 3A school.

Boy there sure are alot of jb people here, they dont have anything better to do then to talk about there son. Now back to the point, NCS has never played in a game this big. This one is for all the marbles. Coach Brothers will have his boys ready to play i can tell you that much. NCS hasnt beat JB since 2004 and i think its going to happen again Friday night, bring your popcorn and JB fans bring your BEER cause its going to be a great game 28-21 NCS

I am looking foward to the Jo Burns vs Nashville Christian game next week. This could be the biggest game in 1A this year so far.

These school's that do have flood damage dont have a field to practice on and i know that Nashville Christian hasnt practiced in 5 days and they still have a district series to make up. Will the TSSAA push the tourny's back one week so these teams can make up there district games?

What are some fields that have damege?? Nashville Christian, Ensworth, DCA, and Clarksville Acadamy are the ones i know.

NCS did play a pretty tough schedual. They played in a great tournament in Destin, Florida where they finished 4, Maclay is a 6a school in florida and Paxton won the 2a state championship in Florida that year and Parkway Christian won the 1a state title in Alabama. But you are right about CA making it to the state, NCS had the talent but never could win the sectional game. NCS did make it through the district without loosing a game and CA didnt. And were not a BOTTOM DWELLER that title should go to Merel Hyde or Jo Byrns

I thought NCS had a transfer that was going to help. Having watched NCS play a couple of games with the new transfer and a couple before Christmas, it appears to me that he may not be fitting in so well? NCS was playing well right before Christmas and even a little after that. But suddenly they have lost 4 out of 5 and seems when I have seen them play with him, there is not as much chemistry within the team. Maybe not such a good fit? Don't know but NCS is certainly struggling. I am seeing the same things at NCS lawdog and I dont know whats going on. Before Christmas they looked like a top 2 team and now they are in the bottom half of the district. NCS is very capable of beating anyone and when they are shooting lights out they are an amazing team to watch, but they just cant put it all togethere. I think they will get back to their winning ways here soon and get HOT in the district tourny. They have a great coach who knows how to win and will get these boys ready.

Tottaly agree!!! That is a terrible new rule. They only new rule they should have added is put a pitch count limit on pitchers. No kid should throw over 100 pitches and i know that most teams dont have enough talent to do this but it needs to be done.
