I'm sorry Wheeler is just not head coach material I delt with him sometimes daily on issuses that would be easy for a student to handle,but he could not comprehend any issuses @ all. I really hope covington well because they have earned it.

Dburg will probably be a little more than the tigers can handle @ this time. The Ripley tigers are on their way up but more than likley a bit more than they can handle. I hope it will be a good game the defense seems to be able to handle some pressure ,but oh maybe it will be a good game.

I believe we will win some games,but we will all have a challenge in this district with Dburg, Milan and Crockett Cty this district has always been a tough one. With this new Coach he already has proven more to me than the last one by his approach and game plan alone not to mention he is more of a people person than the other one. He thought he was better than everyone.

This guy would be out of his league if he was in single A. Sage is one reason that Covington has had sucess in the past Wheeler could not hold the Jock strap of Coach McAdams. McAdams was a real coach made a few mistakes not many should be a coach at the next level somewhere.

Soon every one will realize it. He's not a coach at all. I have to disagree with you on one thing he shouldn't have stayed where he was and never left W. Tn. he was the head coach in Ripley and everyone was happy he left, and you repeated something I said months ago he can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag if it had a hole in it. I never understood and still can't understand why anyone would fire a coach that beat the coach you want to hire and beat other teams that coach couldn't beat. Covingtons AD is probaly regretting this as we report. I hate it for the players the team has talent he's just a bad coach. Coach wheeler is running the exact plays he ran while coaching at Ripley and every coach that played against him knows what his game plan is before the game start. One last thing this guy never played football himself, he was a baseball player and it shows he not to knowledgeable on football. I agree this guy has no idea of being a head coach maybe he could be a waterboy.

I have to agree Newell had the biggest boast for DC to even make to the state when he hit the 2 run homer to tie Ripley in the region. He hit it off of one of the best pitchers in the state edenfield. And from what I seen in the box scores he dominated and DC would have not made it as far as they did unless he had come through when he did. 12 for 16 in the state tourney in 2A is awesome. Some of these guys that made it could not even make some of the teams in 2A in west Tn. I was glad that DC won the state, that made 2A in west tn and Ripley look better since they beat us twice this year only by one run each game with the region game going into extra innings. And DC would not even had a prayer unless Nick hit that two run homer. You have to agree ! by far the edge DC had.

This is the most bogus thing I ever seen Ryan Seaton from Ripley not even on the list. Best catcher in the state by far.
