hixson started out the season 0-4 but in the last 2 weeks they look like a different football team. they had a 4th quarter comeback against a tough dekalb county football team (21-6 beginning the 4th and ended the game 22-21 when garey cosey caused a fumble then recovered it on the 3 yard line) and this past week put up 29 points in 3 quarters against east hamilton. the hixson wildcats were able to take most of their starters out for the whole 4th quarter which was a first this season. something is in the air in hixson, can they keep it up or are their playoff hopes too far out of reach?

yea im sure there is a better game than this one this week.... but saying tyner will win this one is ridiculous haha

hixson by atleast a touchdown. they have a lot of talent and heart. these guys are solid on offense with the exception of a young line. it will be hard to stop zach mccarter and the spread attack. should be a hard fought game with a huge turn out

14-14 with 1st string in for both teams.... both teams played well especially when it came to the running game

Happy Vallaaaaayyyyy Happy Vallayyyyyy!!! Watch out for jake hodge..... saw this kid at the football camp Furman University had and he's a great receiver. He's got hands, a lil speed, and runs crisp routes haha and oh yea he's the guy you can count on to fire up his team and keep them in the game. Great kid.

coaches cussing is not a big deal. kids hear it everyday from elementary all the way through college and probly use the same words themselves. if a coach has to cuss to get a point across or get a team fired up then so be it but if he doesn't then more power to him. if a kid a has a problem with it then maybe he shouldn't be playing football..... its part of life and whether they want to hear it or not, they are going to. complaining about it won't do a thing.

yea soddy is nowhere near the powerhouse they were last year and red bank is gunna be unstoppable.... anybody know when the game is/ still on a thursday maybe?

well no single player beat red bank last year but he did his part.... i was at the game and bubba's kickoff return for a touchdown is what sparked the trojans

Christopher,mccarter,tallent, and park all have talent or they wouldnt be discussed in this topic. I just think its funny that you are the only person that has something negative to say about these kids haha

well, it seems that marion has it all rapped up on the county side and hixson has pretty much won the city side.... any thoughts on how the district tournament will go????????

I would have to agree..... mccarter was limited last year because of the line and i know there were atleast seniors on the line so it may be another tough year for him but cleveland will be strong with park at QB simply because he is a raw athlete. there may be a few surprises since the regions have changed and i cant wait to see what happens sorry bout that... its suppose to say 3 seniors on the line thanx

/flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> there we go haha i knew there were some good chattanooga qb's around here........ i have seen all these quarterbacks play except terrell parks and dominic wilkins and these guys are good! red bank will come back strong with a huge, experienced senior class to help out christopher, parrot will will be consistent and playmakers will develop at soddy, best of luck to wilkins, mccarter is smart, good speed, and tough but will be in need of a line but he should be fine, best of luck to parks, and brady reed will have plenty of blocking and playmakers to help him out but maybe this year he will get to show off his abilities a little more with star runningback matthew polk out of the picture
