Cornersville appears to be a strong contender in single A. They have major wins against Lincoln County, Friendship Christian, Siegel, and Coffee County. They have a record of 26-4; 12-0 district. They have lost to Lawerence County twice, Coffee County, and Sparkman AL.

Trinity has players that have tons of experience since i'm sure most played or were part of the team as 8th graders. They also have possibly the best pitcher in the state and their hitting is also very good. i just don't see anyone stoping them this year. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Although they got Cartwright to hit a groundball to third twice you do question not walking her in the situation they were in. The pitch she hit was a high inside pitch probably out of the zone that any other batter pops up. Pitch was in a good spot but i think the coach knows now who to pitch to when the game is on the line.

they will get into the playoffs easily since they only have to beat two teams to get in. depending on who they draw in the first round i see them getting to the second round but tough to say they go any farther than that. depends on how strong the defense is. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

A single A private school with probably the best pitcher in the state that has signed to play at Tennessee. Boy some people just don't get it do they.

i don't believe any bombs were hit that game and the first pitcher was just having a bad game and the second maybe threw 5 pitches before she was thrown into action. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I believe proved this weekend that they deserve to be in the top 10.

trinity, goodpasture, ravenwood, chattanooga christian those were the teams in it when i left.

i'm beginning to think Creek Wood might have a legitimate shot at state this year. they played goodpasture today at the franklin tournament and had a lead at one point. they sadly fell though on a great piece of hitting by goodpasture's shortstop. she hit a screwball in her eyes for a walk-off homerun. this is with a freshman on the mound holding goodpasture to just 2 runs and only one hard hit. there were some soft hits just over players gloves.

i saw camden's playoff game against fairview. they didn't impress me at all. i was actually disappointed in their performance. they have to improve to have a chance to win this division. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
