Hats of to Greeneville ! Good football team. I am glad I got to see them . Everybody knows we sure have heard how great they are! I would have more respect if it was not for people such Greeneville1#and Jones77. I hate it for the few humble ones! If the truth was know i would bet Greeneville1# has never even played, never went to Greeneville, has Jeff Gordon match box cars in his trophy case and flys a Yankee flag on his front porch . As for the green rebel flag I had to smile so dont take it so hard about our boys on your devil head. Oh and if you desire respect wait and if you earn respect it will come. The Players have mine. Many will say dont judge Greeneville by a few on Coacht but my kids have been to both. SOUTH GREENE may not be perfect but it is a class act compared to Greeneville. The reason beeing wld be there is no point...Thats why the devils have 2 losses...they are playing teams that are tough unlike the buffs and rebels...if you wanna win conference games you have to schedule tough non conference ones... If you give the D to Greeneville and the O to Betsy, won't the resulting implosion cause a tear in the space-time continuum? Seriously Greeneville should have Church and Hall back on D and some crazy speed. Hall can wreak havok with the pass rush. Could force some turn-overs.....something Betsy had problems with against SH. If its Greeneville D against Betsy O.....great defense wins.....advantage Greeneville. Home field advantage? Burley's visitors stands seat more than any of the county schools seat on their home side. More than WG seats in both sides. Morristown has always shared a field between both county schools and I've never heard anyone complain about home field advantage. IF....the county teams choose to play their home games @ Burley...they would be the home team.....home stands and all. Of course they would also have to run concessions and pay for power and security....but then they also increase their gate with the increased seating capacity. I guess what i'm trying to say is why wouldn't they sieze the opportunity to play Greeneville and benefit from their superior facilities. The reason we would not "sieze the opportunity" is because we are Rebels! Takes pride to be a Rebel! So grab your lawn chair in 2010 and welcome to the HILL.

I agree. West greene probably does have a bigger and stronger line. But im also sure that they WILL not be able to block Greenevilles D line..... I have to agree with you here....i'll take speed and strength over mass anytime I have no interst in Greeneville High Football until GAME DAY !!!! But I did check before I posted this . Thank you lastyear21! A friend son told me practice was really tough right now. Everybody is up beat and excited about a new season. They are a lot talent on the hill! Can't wait to get started.

Greeneville looked mighty good in the 7 on 7 in Maryville...took on a very athletic Fulton team and gave em all they could handle. Dummie me. It never dawned on me till now. Look for some major upgrades at the county schools. Greeneville big wigs will not allow the band members to sit in lawn chairs. Would they?

Lots of talent in Shelbville with good teams. We know a lot of good players there. Any surprize players on good teams or teams that may be a surprize this year.

I have seen SG play a few times this year. Played some first class teams in D1AA but they are not one of them. It all starts with coaches with the love for the game. Handed down from there
