I bet that 09 and tyler was standing right beside Lunce applauding his coaching style when they were winning 10 games with very average talent and far below average speed but that shows just how classy the true Hampton fans are and we never ran Lunce off. All of Roan Mtn would love to have him back so we could be the team winning 10 games and be in the third round of the playoffs. Oh yea I think Hampton has been in the fourth round 3 of the last 5 years and how many passes did Rockwood attempt and complete the other night. I only remember1. Lunce come back home. This is the way Hampton fans will always treat you. WE miss and love you.

Shocker that Edwards missed because he was hurt hasn't he been hurt ever since he transferred to Hampton?

After Friday everyone will know Seth Miller,Housman and Morgan no way to gaurd these kids.

When Lunsford gets on Taylor Edwards or Brett Price they will get mad pout and go to the house. Why do you think they transferred to Hampton in the first place? Because they cant handle being told what to do by someone in authority. and trust you me Lunsford can really tell you what to do and sometimes real loud and shall we say forcefull. lets just see how your boys handle it in the season its just preseason right now. Luns probably hasn't gotten on anybody yet.

Hampton kids just dont know how much work it takes to be good or are just not willing to work like cloudlands kids were when Lunsford was here. Too many kids not willing to pay the price to be great. I am not worried about Hampton and Lunsfords new boys.

I think we are pretty loaded also Matt Cole ran all over Hampton last year and should this again this year. Plus we have Housman no one can cover him Morgan will be the fastest player on the field Miller will be good Tolley is a beast at fullback and our line is awesome. Back on the subject Cloudland very well could win the conference.

Taylor will probably be hurt or not playing most games for missing practice. He has absolutely no self discipline. I doubt that he went to Texas for football camp and if he did it was a total waste of time and money. You cant buy success you have yo work hard for it and he only works hard at getting out of work. He has some talent from what i have seen and heard but not much toughness or desire. And those two will get you much farther than raw talent.

I think one difference though is that most of cloudlands players in years past were quicker to walk away from conflict on the field. They were taught to let thier plays on the field do the talking - no need for fighting. A good hit and a W in the end would hurt the opponent more than a shove or a fist. Anyone can fight, but not just anyone can WIN.

I hope youre right that the lack of discipline does concern him. I know his teams in the past would be more under control. I guess if he does still have it time will tell.

Ive followed Mike Lunsford pretty close over the years and have been impressed with him. I have to say that I have some concerns after watching their scrimmage on Friday. The lack of discipline, the players behavior on the field, makes me wonder if Lunsford still has what it takes? His teams in the past wouldn't act like that.
