  1. "What about the week before the Gordonsville game?" What about it?
  2. He played, I'm guessing, eight plays against Cookeville.
  3. I think I would be MORE worried about your team than the OWLS!!! 15 wins out of past 16 games for the Owls over the Tigers. Since you were the "Waterboy", I don't guess you know much about football except filling up water bottles. You know nothing about the facts in this situation. Milan has NOT been healthy since the Gordonsville game where he was airlifted to Vanderbilt with a spine injury. You expect him to be at practice when he is in the hospital or at home not able to come to school. To complain about Milan, your season is really getting to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You say you hope Milan MAKES a 100% recovery and then you complain that he does not practice (when healthy). A stupid post.
  4. Speed kills and it appears that was the situation Friday night.
  5. He is #20 in white jerseys but will be #21 in the black jersey. The doctors had to cut his jersey off him when he got injured and destroyed the #20 in black.
  6. Croz - I know that you guys are not playing with a full deck, believe me we SC fans know about that, and maybe when the injured players can get to 80 or 90% things will start getting back in order. Hang in there.
  7. I called Mike just now to see if he could give any information where we will be tailgating and he said: South of Campus Corner right next to the field and also at Sooner Village, a section set up for RV's. Maybe that will help in locating each other. Leaving now to go to Oak Ridge. Scooter is 10-7 until next week. GOOD LUCK OWLS !!!!!!!!
  8. Sounds like a plan to me - be careful and have a safe trip.
  9. Fred Harvey, owner of 'Harvey's' located on Church Street in Nashville, store closed now, donated the totum pole for the winner of the Tech/MTSU to keep until the next year and so on. Students from each school would try to steal Harvey/Shinny Ninnie and create caos. This game was always played on Thanksgiving afternoon back in the day. Usually a sell out.
  10. Will be tailgating where ever that is located. I will be leaving at 8:30 this AM to drive to Oak Ridge and pick up Mike and then drive to Knoxville to fly out of knoxville. These plane tickets were bought several months ago and with an overnight stay, it is almost cheaper to fly rather than drive.
  11. My bad, Joe Mac Jaques was from Cookeville, his father owned a clearners shop, had a brother named Jap. Joe mac Lipscomb, teammate, was the one from Springfield and played for Boyce Smith - " three yards and a cloud of dust".
  12. SC put a "No Vaccancy" sign on the Mash Unit tent. That should take care of that.
  13. UCM - do you know howMTSU got the name "Harvey"?
  14. Three guesses and the first two don't count.
  15. "Shinney Ninny" at Tech. The player at Tech who named him had a bad car wreck and the steering wheel hit him in the chest and broke his breast bone and ribs and a few years later he developed cancer in that same area and passed away. They thought the accident could have triggered the cancer. If I am not mistaken his name was Joe Mac Jaques from Springfield, TN.
  16. Learn something every day. Craighead did have a good arm (baseball pitcher)
  17. My bad!! I thought you meant meet at the "BUNNY RANCH" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
