Mcgavock lost two starters from their secondary Devon Warfield cb and Marcus Lee safety. From watchin tape you can watch them direct the others of what there assignments were. Warfield was a great cover corner and Lee just a heck of a athlete. once the season comes i expect aaron simms, darius turner and deontae battle to step up and take control of this secondary. They are also losing middle linebacker Brian Scales lb lorenzo colbert and lineman Juwan Turner. There front 7 will determine how the raiders perform this fall. I beleive their secondary will not miss the ones that departed as much as the front 7. Kody Mckinley is now entering his senior year with alot of experience and all but one of his receivers are returning from last year. The raiders are changing back to the wing t which i don't think utlizes there athleticism as much as the spread they ran last year. The returning starters from last year Mckinley, Simms, Turner, Duff, Taylor, Knight and Battle are the leaders of this team and will have to act like it. I do fear that if Mckinley, Simms or Turner are hurt the raiders will do horrible. These three are definite division 1 players.

Mcgavock is going to suprise ya'll... Blackman better come prepared or they will be in for a rude awakening.. I look for this one to be a close game.. Blackman will prevail because mcgavock has problems finishing..

i feel the complete opposite.. mcgavock had this game n the bag and i actually believe they have a better team. mcgavock had some blown assignments which lead to mj scores. mj never stopped mhs they only stopped themselves with td's being called back and personal fouls and holding calls. if mcgavock center doesnt throw the ball over qb's head on two yrd line mcgavock wins. n after reading your comments and watching this game mcgavock will shut alot of that talk up.

Mcgavock- 6'2 Qb Kody Mckinley, wr/safety Aaron Simms, wr Darius Turner,wr/cb Devon Warfield Safety/Ath Marcus Lee, wr/cb KArl Moody, Lorenzo and Everett Colbert, Lb Brian Scales, line Juwann Turner, Line Devin Taylor Antioch- td was an good athlete and some believe ahs will miss him a whole lot.. until they see Rodney Pruitt who can run just like him he might not have the moves like him but he can throw maybe better.. Darius Mitchell at rb. Patrick Pruitt will be his brothers favorite target.. on defense Jesse Savage he isnt that big but he is going to hit you every chance he gets. Artrell Mcmurray at de.. if anyone else knows what antioch has let me know.. Hunters Lane- Demarco Starling Robin Perry other than these two i dont kno who will lead hunters lane but as always they will be a tough team to beat..

[unfortunately the problems have really hurt metro athletics. As you have said because of many of the problems many of the better athletes go to private schools to have a better education. Take for example the Antioch area. Imagine if Antioch had players like Ishmael Lewis, Wesley Sherill, Victor Caro, and Kwazel Bertrand on their team. All are zoned for Antioch yet all start for BA. Take the Hillwood area. Imagine if Hillwood had their neighborhood kids and the kids actually zoned for them. Heck just imagine if they had Orleans who is zoned for them. I heard an interesting fact the other day.] This statement really does not matter.. mcgavock also has some of antiochs athletes they live closer to antioch and cane ridge yet they have to attend mcgavock.. imagine if mcgavock had benny from goodpasture or tavares from endsworth maybe they would be a better team or maybe those athletes would be like many of the athletes at mcgavock and go almost unnoticed on a squad with several dissapointments..

I also believe tht mcgavock antioch and hunters lane will make the playoffs. mcgavock seems to have their destiny in their hands they can come out #1 or #2 with a win over hunters lane or antioch. Mcg is running a Spread offense with qb Kody Mckinley many athletes wr Aaron Simms, wr Darius Turner, ath Marcus Lee, cb/wr Devon Warfield n cb/rb Karl Moody.. IF their defense holds up im looking 4 them to make some noise.. Hunters LAne as always will have a great defense and speedsters. WHat position does Lee play on offense? will Simms be moved all around the field or just at the receiver position?

We all know MCgavock has plenty of athletes.. Im am curious of what do you have on the defensive side of the ball? are there any other players other than brian scales who can help anchor the defense?

How is the defense for your team? I heard that middle linebacker brain scales is out to july. I heard that Sims and #9 i think its Lee can make some plays on both sides of the ball??
