Thanks Ragland, Marissa getting 30 points tonight would be great for at least a couple reasons.

Sleep, that is the first time that I had heard that Marissa is that close to the 2,000 point mark. Do you know how many she needs in tonight's game to hit 2,000 ?

It will be interesting to see if tonights game will have any affect to this poll!

Final Score Jackson County- 48 Socastee- 20 Looks like this South Carolina team has never seen Tennessee defense before. Looked like just about the entire team got in the action tonight. Socastee only had 13 points with 4:00 mins to go on the starters. Great game girls keep it up and stay healthy!

The Lady Blue Devils played a very sloppy game tonight, not taking away from the Lady Bees which kept the game close with speed, grit and determination. It just looked like Upperman wanted the win more than we did and almost got it. The Mead girl did a great job driving to the basket, It seemed like 3/4 of uppermans points came on lay-ups. Their were a few bright spots for Jackson County, Kalya continues to do a very good job under the basket on the offensive end of the court and thank god Amanda cant miss those three pointers. GO BIG BLUE ! P.S. Whats up with all of the missed foul shots, this is going to come back to bite them in close game if they dont start knocking them down.

Hav'nt heard anything about Ridgeway other than they are from somewhere around Memphis. Anyone have a feel on how the two teams are going to match up?

Everyone keeps talking about what Shelbyville did wrong, Like they had to do something very wrong in order to get beat. Bottom line is Jackson County and Shelbyville have two of the strongest high school girls programs anywhere. One school had to win and on this night the Lady Blue Devils out played the Eaglettes. I perdicted a Jackson County win simply because I did'nt see the big gap between the two programs like most everyone else was seeing before the game. Should be another very exciting game when they meet again later in the season.

I lot of people were pulling for Jackson County in tonights game but from what I had been hearing prior to the game very very few people believed that they could actually win the game. I'm glad that the few that did believe included our players. I've already seen some excuses floating around on this board but everyone at this game knows that the best team (At least on this night) won the game. Congrats to the LADY BLUE DEVILS of Jackson County !

I totally agree, the only names that seem to come up when Miss Basketball AA is mentioned are Beechboard and Hall. Not taking away from these two girls because they are great players. After tonights performance by Marissa, taking two of the top ranked players in the NATION to school she has to be the favorite at this point.
