GREAT WIN FOR WHITE COUNTY TONIGHT , BUT THEY DIDN'T PLAY A GREAT GAME . THEY PLAYED SEVERAL BETTER GAMES THIS YEAR BUT COULDN'T GET THE WIN . TONIGHT NO ONE QUIT AND WE KEPT OUR HEADS UP . THE OTHER DAY CAVGOLFER QUOTE SPARTA AS BEING THE WORST TEAM IN THE DISTRICT AND MAYBE THE WORST TEAM IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE . SO WHERE DOES THIS PLACE COOKEVILLE AFTER TONIGHT . MY GUESS WOULD BE OVER RATED .

GOING BACK TO THE BLIND UNP IN THE SPARTA OAKLAND GAME , IF HE IS THIS BAD AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT WHY IS HE ON THE FIELD ? THE ANSWER IS HE CALLS IT FOR THE RIGHT TEAM . THIS GAME WAS BOUGHT NOT WON , AND WINNERS FIND WAYS TO WIN AND IF THEY CAN'T THEY PAY THEIR WAY . NOW THAT WE HAVE SEEN EVERYONE PLAY IN THE DISTRICT siegel IS THE BEST TEAM IF THE UMPS CALL IT RIGHT .

To make things right, how about letting Mr. Acorn bat for himself the next game. It's easy to be brave when you don't have to walk to the plate. If anything, Mr. Acorn was upset because of the 6 earned runs Sparta had just tagged him for. Talk about messing up your E.R.A., letting a sophmore hit 2 homers out on you! it even took him two throws to hit the batter, I thought he was going to walk him trying to hit him! How about it " Batter Up" Mr Acorn.

I see we got another thrashing, and don't really care why. I think it is time that we look at a different solution because I don't think it is the coach. I hear White County has finally accepted the fact that they can't compete at this level, and next year will be dropping down to Double A. The sad fact is their pitching and hitting is better than ours. They simply can't play defense. Most balls up the middle either stop rolling or hit the fence. We have lost too much young talent: Ledford, Lebel, and Ackison just to name a few. I look at Smithville, Livingston, Sparta, and Crossville, and they all have better young pitching than we do. I hate to follow Sparta anywhere, but maybe it is time that we consider doing the same. I don't think we can match up with Livingston's #1 pitcher, so how can we go against Riverdale, Oakland, or Blackman. I think if we don't drop down, we are going to be complaining about our ball team for the next several years regardless of who's the coach.
