That is a tough section to go through. One of Coffee County, Soddy Daisy and Riverdale was not getting to the state. All three teams are good enough to get there. It came down to which teams got the big two-out hits and both Riverdale and Soddy were able to do that.

Good thing they weren't too scared and showed up. Congratulations to Coffee County!

Should be a good game that will come down to the long ball, which should give the edge to CC. Breaking it down to each phase of the game the way i see it: *Pitchers edge should go to CC, Casey is peaking at the right time, basically shut Soddy down. *Defense is equal. *Hitting, should lean towards CC, if you look at Riverdale lately they have not put many points on the board. *Coaching, close. Both Coaches have put up allot of wins the last few years but Riverdale has won the big one. Edge to Riverdale. *long Ball, edge to CC *Short game, edge to Riverdale. Good game, big crowd CC should win by 2. I couldn't disagree more about it coming down to the long ball. Exactly the opposite this time of the year. It usually comes down to which team doesn't make mistakes in the field and which team can manufacture a run.

I remember both of those games very well for very different reasons.

I believe the last time these two teams faced off in a sectional game Dewon Brazelton hit about a 500 foot homerun for the Tullahoma win in extra innings.

Settle. A lot of softball left to play. Big win last night. The eight consecutive hits is nuts and shows depth throughout the lineup. Perfect mix of speed and power throughout the lineup.

Coffee County fails to score in the top of the eighth. Cleveland coming to bat. We are headed to the ninth. Cleveland has the winning run at third in the bottom of the ninth. Estill gets the strikeout and we are headed to the tenth. What a game.
