Why dont you Oakland fans go start your own thread because all you are doing here is taking away from the topic of COOKEVILLE and LEBANON. Nowhere did we see "Oakland Comments" as a link for this topic. Why dont you get off Coach J too? The man is a dedicated coach who will do anything for his players. I have never seen a coach that did not argue with the refs once or twice. And on the topic of region changes...Cookeville could compete with the Murfreesboro region as well as anyone.

PatriotPosse, do us all a favor and don't post on this thread anymore. You obviously have no clue about Coach Joslin. I look for this to be a good game..for those who say Cookeville needs to play better this week...no kiddin. I think the players and the staff might have that figured out. I wish the Cavs the best of luck this week and I know they will leave it all on the field.

Maybe they "can" beat the Cavs, but the Cavs can "beat" those teams too. Thats why they play the games buddy. Maybe you should give some thought to your posts.

Yeah, we did see the Antioch game...they came out slow in the 2nd half, but who was ahead when the clock said 00:00?? The Cavs need a great week of practice and need to bring their "A" game this week no doubt. The Jets hate Cookeville and will try to do ANYTHING to prevent the region championship from coming back here. Don't take this game lightly guys..I know you won't because Coach J won't let you. Offensive Line is the hardest position on the field...They are all tough, but if the O-line isn't getting it done..you don't win. O-lineman also need to be the smartest people on the field. I'm sure some people will disagree, but thats my 2 cents.

I wish I could be there Friday night guys. Go down to Lincoln Co. and shut everybody up. Anybody can get on here and make a prediction. Just leave it on the field and come out ready to fight. Good luck.

The SEC isn't the best in the southeast anymore? Last time I checked LSU and Georgia were 2 of the top 5 teams in the nation. Lets not forget about TN, FLA, and Auburn. You are crazy if you think the ACC can even compare. Yeah, Clemson did beat TN, but what did TN have to play for in that game? Clemson had nothing to lose. I'm not bad mouthing the ACC, but it is not the best conference in the south. Good luck to Cade at NC.

Coach J is the best of those 3 hands down. He beats Crossville and Sparta every year...I dont know why you even asked that to be honest.

I have played against Edmiston and Wolke...Both are excellent football players. I have never seen Link play, but I hear hes awesome too. I think the only thing Wolke has on Edmiston is that hes a little better passer. I was hoping Edmiston had the grades to play anywhere. Hes a special football player.

disgustedfan, Were you on the field playing with Buckner and we missed it? You seem to know an awful lot about what went on out there on the field. Bulldog76, I have no idea who you are, but thank you for wishing me luck. NOBODY looked up to that senior class of football players. In fact, most people hated 90% of them. That is just the harsh truth of the matter. Hopefully this senior class will step up this year and show people what they can do.

bhsOL, Yeah I think I actually heard about that game when you all played Hendersonville. Of course, you can't go into Sumner County, especially Hendersonville or Beech, and expect good refs. Thats just how it goes I guess. About Cookeville's philosophy, I expect them to throw a little more because THEY ACTUALLY HAVE PEOPLE TO THROW IT TO. You can't pass the ball without a good qb and solid wideouts. Keep that in mind..they have that this year.

You guys are missing the worst call of all. Morgan Toline intercepted yalls pass late in the game, and the ref called it pass interference. The film clearly shows the WR simply fell. haha. I know I am arguing something that happened a long time ago, but it was hard for me to see. bhsol, yeah that was a very nasty game. You guys had a great team and alot of talent. I dont have any hard feelings despite what I just mentioned. Its one game I will never forget though.

Two Sport Fan, Thanks alot for your compliment. That means alot to me. I agree that Cookeville hasn't had many players sign scholarships, but one of the reasons is because Cookeville hasn't exactly been a hotbed for recruiters in the past. I hope every player that works hard and wants to play in college gets a chance. Changing the subject, I saw C-ville in passing league a few times and it looks like they have all the tools as far as throwing and catching the ball goes. As long as the Offensive and defensive line comes to play, which they can, Cookeville will be alright.

Yeah bhsol, I played for Cookeville when we played Blackman in the playoffs. It sure was a good game. Two Sport Fan, how do you get off saying he received no help from the coaching staff? I know for a fact the coaches help out all they can at Cookeville if they believe someone can play at the next level. Lets not forget the powerful offense Stevie had to work with 2 years ago. Taking nothing away from him, but he had some help his junior year if you know what I'm sayin. I hope he does well at Maryville.
