  1. yea man, and u know we could have gone further in that division!! Yep, all started with us.
  2. where are u gonna be? i thought u were there
  3. maybe, but i gotta get my wisdom teeth out tomorrow and i dont know how i will feel. is that 12:00 central time?
  4. Good stuff Irish!! One more game to go! When is the final?
  5. no way man he had to call it, it was definately a foul and should have been called, just unfortunate for the irish. CAK played really well and had the better of the 1st half, while KCHS had more chances in the 2nd half. really really great game to watch
  6. yea that #8 is a fiesty little player, and he's only a freshman. I was at the game last week between these two, and yea it really was a very even game, especially the first half. I'm looking forward to seeing another great game on thursday. I would love to see Catholic pull it off again, but its always tough to play a team this many times in a season. Good luck to both, and like G said, its a good thing this isn't do or die.
  7. haha good one GT I will be there as well, looking forward to a great game, hopefully there will be some scoring this time. Whoever wins, it's probably going to be a 1-0 game. I'm going to go with Catholic 1-0, should be an exciting one. I look forward to seeing lcsoccer and Irishlegacy at the game, but I am extremely dissappointed that Hoya will not be in attendence. Go Irish!
  8. just got word from hoya that the game is done, 0-0 final
  9. Whew, I just finished reading that and I started at 2:34. Tinman you're funny.
  10. Well, judging by your long-winded post in the Ronaldinho thread, I guess you are serious. That's kinda sad. What do ya think IrishLegacy? And hoya, I realize that you were never the one to use the "sleeping giant" quote, perhaps I should have made a reference to the famous "This is just the sprinkles on the cookie" speech, though it would not have applied exactly to the CAK game....
  11. Somebody help me out, is this guy serious?
  12. i guess u didnt catch the sarcasm on that one huh?
  13. come on dinos, 58-5? are you serious? as i told irish legacy, make a resonable post or dont post at all please. that is ridiculous.
  14. i think u should 2 foot him and break his leg. then you would win for sure.
  15. yea mitch is usually pretty cute, but he didnt shower this morning so he's looking a bit rough. the smell from 101 is disgusting. or maybe that is just the Croatian/American/etc roomate that he spoke of in an earlier post. irish legacy: you must be an idiot to think the score will be 17-9 in double overtime. a score like that is just unheard of. if you are not going to make good posts, please dont post at all.
  16. Catholic 3 CAK 1 CAK stuns Catholic with a fantastic goal in the first 5 minutes (by none other than Bennett Giles). Then, 2 hard-hit balls towards the sideline knock out Catholic coaches Peter and Mark, forcing Catholic to turn to its 3rd option, known as The Mighty Hoya. Hoya leads an inspired Irish squad to 3 second half goals, 1 each from Doug Hall, Chase Nieri, and Joey Pierce. Hoya remarks after the game that CAK "had awoken the sleeping giant", whatever that means....
  17. hey, we don't need that much depth buddy...... haha. no, sam is another good signing, his brother ben told me today that sam was probably going to come. I've seen him play once or twice, really good player. CAK should do well this year.
  18. A wise colleague also once said "They have awoken the sleeping giant." Welcome back hoya.
  19. i think both games are expected to be extremely close, maybe overtime for one or both of them. catholic 1-0 and mccallie 2-1

    Div. II East

should be a pretty tight game, but the way catholic is playing right now, i don't think notre dame can stop them. it does hurt that they have ND at home on that small, bumpy surface, but they will pull out a close win. I'll guess 2-1, but who knows.
  21. I believe it is scheduled for 7:00 at Webb, but who knows what will happen if it keeps raining like this.
  22. gotta go with Catholic on this one, but should again be a close game. Catholic has more talent for sure, but Webb is always very well coached, making it tough for more talented teams to break their defense. But Catholic will sneak one in while Webb just doesn't have the scoring options to match them. 1-0
  23. pretty good game in the rain, catholic looked like they should have been up early, but #17 Pierce missed several opportunities that he should have put away. he was able to get behind the SH defenders basically every time he got the ball. SH first goal was definately questionable, the ball just took a wierd hop and hit Kinney's hand, but the 2nd one was pretty nice. Pierce finally converted one of his numerous breakaways in the 2nd half, and catholic completed the comeback within the last minute. SH looks like they could make a run to make state, and catholic looked strong despite a few week points. good luck to both.

    Club State

i dunno, that wasnt too bad. the jeff agoos part made me laugh. and i think the winner should be england france or italy, but england and france are in the same bracket, so we'll see what happens.
