    DII Final

MUS won 2-0. Any details on the game?
  3. farragut 3 mcminn 0 Mcminn has absolutely no chance of winning this game.
  4. dont they always lose to farragut?
  5. haha good call on the poop. mcminn would have no chance against farragut.
  6. OR should take this. 2-1

    MBA vs RYAN

Despite Father Ryan's hot streak, i give the edge to MBA. 1-0
  8. i think probably 4 of the 5 teams in the east could beat MBA. I havent seen BGA, though it sounds like they are much stronger than all other middle teams. It's just unlucky that the east only gets 2 teams at state, while in my opinion there are 3-4 that could definately compete better than most middle teams (excluding BGA). I cant argue with the west though, it sounds like the top three there are very strong. East and West are the strongest.

    ND/McCallie

I dont think this will be 5-0, it should be a lot closer than that. give ND some credit, they arent that bad of a team. both teams have solid goalkeepers as well. i see a 1-0 game that could go either way, but i think McCallie will pull it out.

    Redmond Top 11

sure, none of the others have losing records against DII teams, but they havent exactly dominated either. Brentwood 1-1-1, Farragut 1-1, Hendersonville 1-1. Hoya75 certainly has a strong valid point, but in the end, we all know the rankings dont matter. It would be great if the rankings could be unbiased, but it wont happen, so why worry about it. its the games that matter.
  11. i dont know why they dont play the season. its really a stupid thing to allow them into the tournament at all, but any team in the region will pound them so its not too big a deal. they would probably forfeit the season games anyhow, its just not worth them playing these teams at all.
  12. with the baylor win, does anyone know what the region seedings are now? i know baylor and webb are tied for 2nd, so whats the tie-breaker and who wins? if the tie-breaker is goals-against, i think webb wins it but im not sure. anyone know?
  13. i still think this one will end in a TIE, but if anybody wins it, its gonna be baylor. i just think they have better talent and play the better game. if it does end in a tie, i guess webb gets the 2 seed. how crazy is that. either way, come tournament time, anybody can beat anybody else.
  14. A/AA- FRA and CCS AAA- Farragut and someone else (maybe Houston?)
  15. i dont even know where milan is. are they A/AA? sorry ive never heard of them.
  16. It really will be an interesting week. As Soccerfan showed, there are quite a few senarios as to what the seedings could end up being. I think Notre Dame should beat Webb on the ND field, Webb really needs a big wide field to play their game. 1-0 ND. I see the the McCallie-Baylor game ending in a tie, maybe 0-0. Lets just wait and see what happens. Good luck everyone in a very tough region.
  17. I have to give McCallie the edge. They look too be a much better team than Notre Dame. But if the game is played on Notre Dame's small, narrow, bumpy field, as I assume it will be, McCallie's advantage will definately be reduced. McCallie always thrives on a long wide field, as do many teams, and playing at the Irish's home field will give Notre Dame a much better shot at coming away with this one. Still, I see McCallie getting the 2-0 win.
  18. CAK and LC are both very good teams. I think LC, despite the close losses to some tough teams, is playing the better of the two. LC should get the win, maybe 2-1.
  19. green, hall, houbre for Catholic carden for ND good game both teams

    BGA 6, ECS 2

What happened in this game? ECS just beat CBHS, and now they go and get beat by BGA. Any info?
  21. catholic dominated most of the game, but let down near the end of the game. MBA got a few chances late, but the lone MBA goal was actually an own goal. Austin Sheridan scored for catholic on a header offf a throw-in. catholic missed several shots that should have been put in, just really couldnt finish well. MBA didnt have many opportunities, but they kept working and got their goal right near the end.
