  1. PSAFOUR, why don't you try and be a little more biased. did baylor even make it to state? i'm pretty sure they didn't, and i'm assuming you either play or played for them. you have to show more respect for Mid tn i think, i believe usn and ryan should be atleast in the top 7, and BA has a shot to be on that list somewhere
  2. mr. fun, let's keep it in tn high school soccer, not the EPL
  3. i played against oak ridge and brentwood this year, and brentwood was way better than oak ridge. brentwood will lose alot after this year, but w/lowder and some other guys coming back, they should contend next year. beware of their outside mid, t-bags, he's tenacious
  4. mark mcwatters of ryan is by far the best keeper in dII middle, if not all of mid-tn. i played BA's keeper twice and, he might not have had much defensive help, i wasn't too impressed with him. i also played usn's keeper early on in the year, and also saw him get thrashed by bga in regionals, i think he is a decent keeper, especially for his first year, but i think his defense kept him alive in games. mchugh and some of the others are scrappers that blocked many shots. but mark mcwatters kept ryan in many games this year and made some crazy saves, i think by the end of next year, he'll be the best keep in all the state
  5. i saw there's a thread on AAA's top teams next year, what a/b DII? i know for sure that father ryan should be the favorite to win the middle region w/nine starters returning and lots of underclassmen experience. what other teams will be good? i know usn has some younger players that are pretty good, and i think jpII will get to state next year. who else will be able to compete?
  6. i would say that brentwood and bga were busts because 1. they had enough talent to atleast make it to the final if not win, and 2. all their players the entire season said no one could hang with them
  7. DII stuff doesn't have anything to do w/Farragut's chance of winning. i saw houston dismantle a very good hendersonville, and later saw farragut won like 5-0 over them, so i don't think it matters who they could possibly play, they'll win. oak ridge is a pretty good team, but they're keeper will probably end up costing them the game. otherwise they have a very solid sweeper and many good midfielders and forwards, but i don't think they can upset farragut.
  8. yea, USN is still in and they're on a roll, but no one really even gave them a shot to even make it to state
  9. usn's keeper i'm sure has had to have played well to beat cbhs and knox catholic, but he's got some solid players in front of him. namely, patrick mchugh. that guy is all over the field scrapping for the entire game, he and a few of the other usn defenders and midfielders are making their keeper look a hundred times better. kudos to him tho for taking down brothers in the shootout
  10. brentwood, bga, hendersonville, FRA and many other highly rated middle region teams are all gone before the finals. what happened? bga and brentwood were supposed to win it all according to many, and FRA had no competition in AA/A up til now. good luck to USN, i think they'll surprise some people, MUS cannot overlook them. i don't know how USN made it this far, but i'd like to see atleast one middle team win.
  11. i'm surprised no one is showin any respect for ecs. they had a good regular season and beat cbhs and mus if i'm not mistaken. they have a chance to put bga out w/o will walton, because if barnes doesnt play keeper, i've heard their backup is absolutely horrible. it all depends on how they shuffle their line up, because although their starting eleven are tops in our area, their bench doesn't seem deep at all. i still think ecs has a shot to atleast get by the first round if not further.
  12. dude, nobody is overlooking webb or knox catholic. everybody has seen what they've done this year with their records, so it's not like people are brushing them aside. it's just that bga and cbhs are the top two in the state and they're making more noise because they beat better quality teams
  13. T.J. Derrick from Father Ryan, i think
