not only is the field a reflection of the coaches but it all comes down to the pride of the players and the level at which the school places importance on the sport. If you play in a trashy facility, guess what, your gonna be trashy. Just like you take pride in the uniform you put on, you take pride in the field you play on. You spend the time and the effort to make it a great facility then it's that much more a matter of pride not to get beat on it.

sorry to hear about all this todd, i sat in the dugout many days with you and watched the same stuff. Baseballs a fun game until parents get involved. SOmetimes life sends reality checks in the form that sometimes your kids aren't as good as they were in little league. In many cases the competition catches up with them. It's the kids that can handle the heat the longest and keep on keeping on to get better that make it in the game. That's not to say a parent shouldn't be involved but you've got to know where the lines are drawn and be able to step outside and see your kids talents the way others do before you can start throwing stones. THe same parents that raise heck about coaches like this are the same ones that make fools out of themselves in the stands yelling at umpires when they call your kids out. It's a natural cycle.

so what's the real deal with the coaching situation there, i've read the articles in the paper but that's a lot of hearsay to be listening to from the kids. If the ball i sput in their court there will be a lynchin going on up there. What's the real story?
