welcome to the world that Brentwood Academy and MBA face every year. you can't get in state teams to play you, because they are often afraid.

well tough luck frankl, but a great season, a lot to be proud of with such a young team. ya'll will be back right at the top next year....hopefully behind us this time

we could have said the same thing about the region tournament game with ya'll frankl, ridings was good, i'll give him that...but the umpires also gave him 3 feet on the outside part of the plate...any pitcher can be good and effective with that.

my last post was directed in full to kerr...so all you other fightin irish, don't be offended.

havent really thought about it....me and fisher might, but tom santi, and matthew jacques are coming back for sure.....it's going to be a totally different program next year.

well, i hoped i would never have to write this one, but oh well it was a tough loss today to a good bga team...we went from very confident that we would make it to our rightful place in memphis, to having no tomorrow...goes to show you just how truly tough this region was from top to bottom this year, probably the toughest this region has ever seen. There is no doubt in my mind that the three teams going to memphis this year will represtent middle tennessee well, and one of you three will be the state champion. Although it ended terribly personally for me and my team, this was a great year, and a lot of fun. Best of luck to you three teams the rest of the way, i know you'll do well, and i'll see you next year. football starts friday......

yep, we just had a terrible game all around, but howefully that was just one game...good luck to you and the cats the rest of the way, and hopefully we'll be seeing you wednesday.....after today we can't look past anyone.

the mba game will be played at 4 30 due to the ap exams.

actually i agree with wes on that heard will pitch, it makes since fist of all because some guys on the ba team told me that that's who's throwing, and also because heard has thrown against mba all three games, coach buddy's plan, if mba wins tomorrow, is to have pete ready for mba because they haven't seen him yet this year.

i don't care what happens as long as the big red at one of the top 3, best of luck to all.

i think buddy was very wise in doing so, don't get anyone hurt. Buddy wouldbe the last person that would do something like that with the intention of disrespecting anyone.

i think that his is the most eavenly matched tournament that i can remember...there is no game that can be taken lightly in any sense. good luck to all and let's have a great time watching this one.

they only have one pitcher....he is really pretty good, would start for most teams...so it's just an all for nothing on his arm...if they don't win behind him, they just realize that they don't have a chance.

well just by playing against baylor twice in state last year, and remembering how good they were then....i don't think anyone can count baylor out, they have a very dangerous team that if can catch some momentum and get their players back will really throw their weight around in the tournament and could easily make the final four if my memory serves me right.

I totally agree with wesvols on his picks, except that i think that baylor will not make the tournament...that is a very tough region, especially with only two slots, but from what i hear, webb is the real deal, and i think that they will make it to state over baylor. FINAL FOUR: Brentwood academy MBA Mccallie CBHS/ECS - ecs has a very good, tall, hard throwing freshman that could carry them into the tournament.
