Hunters Lane lost to Lebanon 0-2, won 5-4 David Libscomb. They play Franklin Co. at 10:00am Saturday. They didn't hit the ball at all aginest Burington (Lebanon) and we got 3 out for spring break. Hopefully bats will come alive today.

Hunters Lane defense is very lacking at time. They need to work on just making the rotten plays, to prevent the wheels from falling off at times. Should only stay with his experienced player at pitching and catching and this would keep the defensive play most the same until a outfieling combinations still need is found that works. There are many that do a great job of teaching the game. I agree with some that have been posted. Good coaches usually surround them self's with other good coaching minds, that makes up a good staff. It hard for a coach to run a good practice alone. That should be the three team fighting for the top. As in ALL districts there are some cup cake teams. District 12 AAA may have more than others. Because these teams cant go to another district, they try to schedule good non district teams to play and also go to good weekend tournaments. The games with McGavoch, Hunters Lane and Antioch should be good ones as in the years past, just like when you was here BIGCHIEF.

I have wondered for years, what was some of the records with TSSAA and who holds each record. If anyone knows where the records are located, please pass it to us. I am looking for one player for the Nighthawks 14u A team for 2004 season. We will be playing the top ASA tournaments to qualify for ASA Nationals in Midland Texas. I am looking for a team player with good hitting skills and speed is always a plus. This would be a fielding position, we have three pitchers and two catchers. This is a team playing at the next level and these same group of kids finished 3rd in the ASA - A Nationals in 2002 against all the top California teams. Nighthawks team does have 7 returning player form the 2002 season. Plus I did have two friend play with us from Chattanooga. Not that it matters !
