Hoopscoopdre, What are you basing your list on? Last year's season, summer ball, hear say, or by seeing these boys play? Or is it just a combination of all? Is it a list of all classes (A,AA,AAA,) together or will they be separated? Hope to see it soon and hope it has more than Tyler S. from Middle Tenn.

Jeremy Brown, awesome rebounder for such a little guy. worked hard all summer and has a lot of talent. Goes great along with Wadale Williams.

Memphis area (west tn.)doesn't have All the top sophomores. Middle Tn. has a few.(Tyler Smith was mentioned)With all the ones mentioned are they true team players? Will they have a future after high school? What about character, do they have this? I think a lot goes in to choosing who are the Best in any class catagory. One of the ways to see if they are truly effective is when they are not in the game.What happens if they are on the bench? Does the team work without them or better. Good players are there for the team effort not the me effort. When looking at awesome players look at the whole picture. You left many out.

We were playing in a classic game(boys) in Columbia Sunday and one or two of the kids yelled or whooed at some girls who were on the field during the half and the official came over and gave them yellow cards. One of the officials was the dad of one of the kids who got the card. Is that a normal call? They did not yell out anything ugly. Is this normal? [Edited by flyer on 9-9-02 8:56P]

Williams isn't the only one on the Columbia team. They have 3 others who have played together for many years and have worked really hard on the off season. They are hurting inside with only Sparkman but their quickness and experience should help them despite this. Williams, Sparkman, Brown,and Walker are nothing to look over. Watching Lawrenceburg this summer in the BGA league they definitely are not as strong as last year. Haven't seen others in the district but I would say it will be a close race.

Don't put Central High away yet. They have about 6 very good players coming up. athey might not set anything on fire this year, but the future plus their Srs. they should be a team full of surprises. Freshmen- Alex Ross, Rebecca Cathey, DeAndrea Bullock, are the ones I know of. But they also have others.

Because of Title 9 I heard that a lot of colleges are losing their soccer programs. Is this true? Who has a good program on the college level in Tennessee and are these programs going to be effected? I haven't read anything about this just heard talk. If anyone knows lets hear about it. Thanks.

Why do you have the Bullets rated below teams they have beaten. Is this just your opinion or do you base it on wins? What do you think of the young PG on their 15 and 16 team? I am always impressed by the Holt kid. He can shoot. They seem to work well as a team. They don't have any one player that really stands out. So as a team with as many wins it seems they might be higher. I must admit I haven't seen the Memphis teams play. Glad to see your ranking though, thanks for doing it.
