was a very good ball game .. must say the lady dawgs of celina are a much improved ball club ..coach has done a great job with them.........theyll be a team to reckon with come tourney time .. like to say way to go lady cats !! on the win ..way to go sammy farley ! on the two triples that gave you 4 of your 5 rbis... glad to see your bat is back where is suppose to be.. we depend on it ......great game ......to all..........!!!!!!!!

its great to see our district geting stronger.. with all of what im hearing bout cchs.....looking forward to seeing them and monterey.. they gave us a scare past couple years .. shaping up to be a great game from what i hear ...good luck to all 7 a teams .. ..

i agree too early to know whos best at what position .. but lets not forget montereys team that won district and went to state last year returned all but three starters which sounds like alot but have some talent that played in other areas sophmore hanna floyd is at third who started at second/shortstop last year samantha farley at short who started at short/center field last year and freshman jayme mccullough at second replacing her sister jenn she also pitched for jr high last year from last year .. very strong arm and plays that position well so far .. course im partial to her yet another one of my daughters .. lol... but very strong player none the less .. and we have cheyenne buttram, at catcher replacing biggun ..who is a sophmore but very experienced at that position ..played travel and lg at catcher .. and we also have ms atkins returning as pitcher .. who prover herself as a freshman last year as very competitive .. and this combination worked well yesterday with a win over rbs hard fought as ususual think score was 16-15 congrats to my lady cats and to rbs hard fought game

...lol i dont think montereys thought of anyone being a cake walk (thier district isnrt a cake walk .. with the likes of rbs jc and clarkange )...but the girls have definately showed some heart and fight in the districts......hope the fact theyve split with gordonsville in reg season gives them enough spark to play just as hard in the regions.. good luck lady cats and to all in districts

congrats to laken on her points thus far.........and yes rbs is a great team .. .......and no one player makes the team .. it takes all players .. but rbs would be a different team with out her leadership and ability...everyone whos seen them play would have to admit that ..

g ville has some great talent and the monterey game was a fight to the end .. but could have something to do witrh the young players playing tough at monterey . is that so hard to believe muffin ..?? lol they are young but very talented .. i believe they can put a scare in anyone one in the district especially if they continue to improve as they have been ..like you said your self this is one of the toughest districts in the state.........

the roads were bad twice in monterey today but melted off but 62 toward clarkrange out of monterey could still been bad. pretty curvy at times on that road .. too.. btw lady cats beat gville by 8 tonight ..congrats ladys......

i didnt say we would have won the game i said it could be anybodys game .. and i agree you girl didnt have there best night .. but had alot to do with how the monterey girls played also.. and wasnt downing your girls just the refs who seemed to forgot how to count .. and if someone has told them to watch the paint they sure wasnt fri night .. rbs has one of the best team s in the state no doubt .. but do believe that muffin underestimated the score there ..and yes molly is a great player and has alot of talent around her too.. young but talented ...and we still got districts to go this year everyone in league should be better so who knows ..and we heard all about you alls games in ky during christmas in the pregame announcments ..lol ...good luck thru out rbs you are still the team to beat ill give you that .. and as usual keep up the hard work mhs lady cats !!!!!!!!

think you may have underestimated the lady cats there muff .... and if the refs new how to count to 3 it could been any ones game since about 10 points were made in the paint after they allowed you all to camp out in it ...... but kudos to the lady cats for playin tough in a tough place........great game ....keep it up

well its montereys to lose but rbs is always tough in district play.. as well as the resurgence of clay county playing much better ball .. and at a key time during the season ..(the districts).....congrats to to celina team and the coach on their win against rbs..been long time coming .. wouldve loved to seen that game ..clay counties coach does a spectaculoar job with his girls and probably is one of the nicest guys out there coaching ... again great job .. and good luck to all in the districts ..

score was monterey 15 rbs 7 way to fight back girls rbs is young but tough.... way to team up on pitching ashley and sam....great job by both of you...... thumb i was not gonna comment on something but still ticks me off.whoever the parent was and he knows who he was showed no class by directing a comment towards a player on field...refs and coaches well yea might be different if you get steamed at them .. but these kids play their hearts out and practice hard.....no need for that at any ball field.......the comment was about sliding ..for those who want to know.. hard to slide when the plays 4 ft from the base .. but on a lighter note....... keep the grunts coming lady dawgs... just tickles ashley to know she has fans that like it ..

it was at 5:45 in moterey ................ montery 8 hermatige springs 2 was a great gamwe h s came out strong but monterey finally played like i know they can play ..great game ladies on both sides ..........
