very gritty tough team ....would not underestimate them if i were fcs.....good luck lady dawgs.!!!!

was definately a late nighter .. both teams were exausted ..but never gave up fought to the end.!if both these teams give forth that kind of effort in the region run .. there is no telling how far they both can go.!this is my 7 th year having a girl on the team, and this is the first time i ve ever seen a 14 inning game . this 7 a league may not be loaded from top to bottom with talent.. but the heart and grit these teams displayed last night is unmatched by any . am very proud of these girls and am so greatful that this league is gonna be represented by these determined , hard playin , and high quality.! ,young women from both clay county high school and the 5 time district champion lady wildcats from monterey !!!!!!

monterey plays clay at 5 pm in championship game . 7 oclock game slated after only with a monterey loss . and as for scout... cant judge a team on a loss its what they do with it .. monterey girls will take care of themselves by playin one game at a time ..good luck monterey and clay with whoever you face in regions ...those games to be played on friday at rbs due to rain on thursday!

district is a whole nother beast .! but ill stick with my lady wildcats from up on the mountain . great job this year girls ! keep it up and lets get number five .. oh and that will be 5 IN A ROW! good luck to all thru out !

7 a was well represented in the DUFF this weekend . clay county and monterey despite having early losses battle round in the pool bracket . to face each other in the semi finals . with monterey going ahead of clay to play in the finals of the silver bracket . against a very good libscomb team .montery fell to them by a score of 3-0 ..but was very proud of them and clay county for representing 7 a ball.. looking forward to the tourney in couple weeks down in ole rbs town ........

was wondering with todays weather and forcast are the games subject to rain outs and delays. ? will they be rescheduling ? will coaches be notified .?

i agree ! if not ms basketball she should have at least had a share of the 7 a district mvp. to lead in scoring and rebounds like she has .. against great teams like c range and j county or 7 a as a whole for that matter .molly is a real hard worker and a great kid ..she will help monterey go father im sure ..she has a great team around her and they all are hungry . next two years should be exciting

was lights out for biggest part of the boys game from what i heard,.had to take off before that action .., but congrats to lady cats on big district win !.. with little bit of their own lights out defense! great play and congrats .. heard the boys game would resume tomorrow night .. anyone heard ?

take the all district team from 7 a at the end of the season and theyll beat any other team in the state . quarenteed !

fca isnt the same team they have been in past years from what i ve seen .. not near as strong as past teams ..my dark horse is whitwell.. go lady tigers!!!!!!!

first of all congrats goes out to the lady tigers .. on great game .. got to give a shout out to my lady wildcats for a tremendous season.. you all still young and no reason we shouldnt have this chance again to advance to the state .. whitwells stick totally came a live if the hit like that thru rest of tourney no reason you ladys cant win state ... very classy bunch of ladys .. even though we werent there very long .. seemed like a good community that supports their teams ,, and nice bunch of ppl to talk to also..........so im running from here on out for the whitwell lady tigers to take it all.. good luck in the boro ladys .. you got support in middle tennessee rooting you all on to win ...!

would be nice if this game was played saturday due to montereys graduation although no seniors on team we,d like to see family graduate .. but looking forward to the game none the less ought to be a great game! and not sure who posted the score here but monterey lost 4-0 not 5-0..lol......but good luck lady cats .. ! lets try and make it two years in a row in the boro'
