(4) celina vs(5) pickett county... with(1) monterey playing the winner of 4-5. not sure i got the seeding right on celina and pc.... still not clear on whether its single or dbl elimination either........but pretty sure this is the match ups for today......good luck to all the girls......... :justwrestle:

you are right crazy volfan thats how they played the bracket last year...go figure.... but do think i stood corrected when questioning it last year...and tiger 80 dont believe xplay was claiming the championship as a whole as a matter of fact he did mention "one more win"... and monterey girls know they got to take care of there business before anything can be claimed.if they can pull it off and win it those girls have earned every bit the right to call themselves reg. season champs , ever since i ve been around ball when theres a regular season and post season theres a reg season champ and post season champ.....and our girls in monterey like im sure all the teams in our district want the post season reign most of all...goodluck tomorrow lady cats!

it wasnt first baseman that i know of .this girl was hit by a throw down ball at first...she was occuping first..took a hard hit to her face.....

thought you might want to know that monterey beat one of the teams you fore mentioned watertown in a great game by both teams 1 - 0.....our district may not be the strongest but we dont shy away from competition ..if im not mistaken we along with water town and rbs are playing double and triple a teams in the cookeville tourney this weekend...besides the girls dont set the districts up anyways thats up to the tssaa i believe

the monterey lady cats lost a tough one to white county after a scoreless game up to 4 innings .miscues and errors gave the lady warriors a 5 - 0 win..in the first game of the cookeville golden corral tourney, but the lady cats came back in an error-free game against a very good watertown to win the second game 1-0.....0 walks for brooke osborne the pitcher and great TEAM defense.... thats how you win games ladies ...!!;)way to keep your heads up and play hard girls couldnt b more proud of the entire team and yes amy stevens is the head coach ..to answer your question cookie monster

monterey is now 10 - 1, this counting a preseason tourney sweep in rockwood 3-0, 2- 0 in district play.... good job ladies just getting started though toughen up....and play hard more competion ahead .. we look forward to it

personally dont think rbs is going to fall off at all.well coached and do work hard.... hermitage has great talent also .. and monterey while still young will compete with both...our district has alot of tallent....well get our shot in the cookeville tourney at water town and others ... just remeber this saying ...no horse that cant b rode no man or lady that cant b throwed ..lol.....good luck to all....
