  1. I think CA had the pitching advantage last year....but i think Mt. P is on top pitching wise this year as much as i hate to admit that ..........they have some good pitching.
  2. County rivalries always cause a big thread...ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S CA AND MT. P. I honestly think this is the most evenly matched these two teams have ever been.
  3. WD...would you not think of bratton as maybe a third basemen or have him at second base at the next level...j/w ?
  4. brentwood lost to beach and redbank.....columbia beat beach and redbank...brentwood beat columbia and lewisburg....
  5. I don't really know abou tthe best...but columbia central has a pretty good sophmore pitcher in Chase Estes who is 3-1 this season. Does he throw hard...not really 75ish or so, but he has pretty good control and is mixing up the pitches really well..and has yet to let up more than 1 earned run a game. He has thrown all 7 innings of each of the four games.
  6. CBHS is one heck of a ball team. They have been beat three times this season...by riverdale, columbia central...and now germantown....i think they have state won, solid team...great defense good pitching.....GREAT BATS
  7. Goodpasture comes in first...columbia runner up
  8. first....no i don't know who WD is. second....i missed tuten..he may be able to go somewhere...and kyle king..but he's not a senior so i overlooked him...and third...if i want to post..i'm going to post and no i don't have any problems with mt. pleasant....i mean i've plaeyd against tuten bubba and all the boys from Mt. P of 2004 since babe ruth allstars, i enjoyed playing against them.
  9. sorry bottomline i didn't agree on one thing about mt. pleasants players. I never said he was a god at baseball...just said he was a good player....and the other thing....the only thing i'm going to argue about is....no one hounds anyone in the paper for central..do you realize central is not in the paper hardly ever....our stats are rarely turned into the paper unless they come to our game and keep the books themselves.....but on the other hand.....look how often Mt. P is in the paper...hmmm maybe someone from Mt. P does what you just said about someone from columbia doing....
  10. why don't you want watchdog in on this.....he only gives his opinion and keeps things going on the boards. On this one..i'm affraid i'd have to agree with what he's going to say....no one sorry
  11. man are u some how kin to Tuton?? you sure are making him out alot better than he is. He is a good pitcher, but he's not great, or not as great as you make him out to be, if he was he'd be goign to college to play somewhere. but he's def. not one of the best..you have guys like price and all the other great pictures in TN to compare him to. Best at MP..possibly...best in his district...maybe...best in middle TN or even the state..not a shot
  12. I believe price is throwing that, i've seen both him and tuten throw.....price-believable tuten-unbelievable
  13. 92???? come on now. if he is throwing 92 mph and is as great as you are saying he is....i better see his name in the starting rotation next year for Rice or Stanford.....but that's not happening, and he's not hittin 92. He is a good pitcher...but man he's not throwing that hard in the last inning..much less the first.
  14. yeah..i'm mad at myself for forgettin Click, he too is a great umpire. The worst umpires though are the ones a/r the dickson area...the guy they call lurch...he is HORRIBLE. His partner wasn't any better. Lurches strike zone changed every inning. the most inconsistant thing i've ever witnessed from an umpire. The calls were also different team to team as well
  15. yeah i play, i'm a pitcher for Columbia....and yes kinnard gets to play
  16. no one from columbia has signed, neither Columbia Central or Columbia Acadamy, (if i'm wrong about the acadamy, please correct me) both teams are filled with senior talent, just no signees yet.
  17. Yeah kinnard still plays for columbia..........sorry impact, i took it as you were being sarcastic, i just read it wrong, bnut no i wasn't saying you didn't hit......never knew who you were, but seriously though, congrats on a good tourny of hitting
  18. it changes daily, the pitching rotation is about the only part of the lineup that stays the same, and that is McDonald, Bratton, Luther, Buie, and Estes.
  19. impact..i'm talking about your team not hitting, not you personally , i have no clue who you are, but congrats on bragging about your own homerun
  20. it's made up tomorrow at 3:30
  21. We all have off days..and that was one of our off days, but by no means did you (Karns) impress me. and about you hitting well.......watching you vs other teams in the tourny, you didn't hit anyone to great no offense.
  22. Impact...what team do you play for?? columbia didn't exactly throw there best stuff against you or Centineal either. Both players that pitched that day were sophmores.
  23. Bratton ended up hittin i think two bombs in the tourny, and a few key hits. Junior Matt ring was a standout at the plate though, and is now hitting around 500. Defensively the three winning pitchers, Buie, Luther, and Estes all had pretty dominating performaces..Luther lettin up 1 unearned, buie lettin up 2 or 3 earned in the bottom of the last inning, and estes lettin up 2. Over all the defense was pretty good, other than one or two mistakes in the opening game of the tourny.
