i don't know about unika, i havent heard much about them, but i bet USJ and CA will both be there. CA can beat any single A team and can easily move up to 2A and probably make it to state. They are solid. Not your avg. single A team

bobby bratton an outfeilder?? he's a shortstop, but is one of the best if not the best in the mid-state.

i think columbia central's feild is great! It has made a major face lift since the earlier days of being only a practice feild, but now it's truly great.

Centennial does rely alot on him, but he is not the only person on the team. We faced them saturday and it proved to me he wasn't there only player. Their shortstop is a good player who went to a showcase with myself. He hit the ball well. and i believe he scored the winning run.

Keep up with columbia here in the next few weeks and you'll see a turnaround. The players are working as hard as ever to make it happen. when tournaments come around you'll see a whole other team that will be much improved of what anyone has seen.

You are right about it all, except that columbia left 12 runners on base, not 6.

i was there during all five of them too. The first one he hit against us, the wind carried out i think, but still a good hit. but from there on after each one he hit got deeper and deeper. He definantly smashed the ball saturday. Definantly his day

so you heard pickle personally say that the season would be down the drain if bratton got hurt. Boy you must be around pickle more than i am. To bad that's not a thing pick would say. Sure bob is well liked by our coaches. What coach wouldn't like a great player like him. But our coaches also respect each and everyone of the other players. And pickle is not a coach who would ever say ..the season is down the drain so you are b/s'ing there. Pick is the kind of guy that will say, well b/c of this injury the rest of you startin 8 have to improve your battin avg 50 points, drive in 5 more runs, and make 10 more great plays, never a season is down the drain. All words out of his mouth are positive words. At central there are no shadows buddy, there are just twenty or so players each and everyone fightin hard everyday to earn a position and get us one step closer to our goal.

well say what you want, but really we do not "live" in his shawdows. If i played the same position as him, maybe you could say that, but we are different people at different positions with different abilities. Bratton is great, but could not win alone. Oh and sorry we just can't drop all of our games and play mt.p.

Sure, i see some pretty good teams in that group. But you don't play teams like columbia does. We play Oakland, blackman riverdale state champs Laverne telahoma, we also play two teams you do in lawrence and in franklin county. But you do play good teams, just not as high of a calaber as we do in AAA

What about zack gray? he's hittin in the nineties off the mound. Signed with tennesse tech and is one of the best pitchers in the state...oh yeah and some guy named COURTNEY ENGLISH, he's ranked no. 8 in the state amongst outfeilders. and grant nickle, by far one of the most powerful hitters in the area. We have plenty of other great players on our team.

why am i a jerk when your the one on here cuttin down a great ball club saying we are overated? none of this would have ever been said if you could have kept your mouth shut and not run your mouth about a team being overrated when they aren't

yeah buddy, the "lawrence county guy" as you called him wants to play with a 11th grade and under baseball team this summer.. to bad he plays for MTSU. and nope, not all of these guys play for columbia so guess again

So when you compare how central did vs the post this summer, don't expect that to happen the same way when it's chs vs ca, or chs vs mt.p. The outcome will be totally different than it was in the summmer

and by the way, the post team is not made up of only CA boys. Like last year, they had nick cathey and a few from lawrence county and a few others from around the area. And this summer they will have all of the central seniors just about. So post is not made up of CA boys only,

Well, no one on the team is making a big deal out of it. The only thing that has been me ntioned is...oh man that stinks...and tough luck. Since these injuries happened we just expect other people to step up and do a lil bit more then they were expectedand the loss won't be as noticable. The team itself are not the ones making it a big deal, it's the rest of the world out there that hears..omg bobby and zack are hurt columbia is hopeless..that's not how it is, they are two great players,and both play a big role on the team, but we have a roster full of other great playerls as well.
