what do people think will happen in this region with to good districts going at it.

i would just like to thank all the 99% of those people who said that mt juliet couldnt beat lavergne bc we used that as motivation.

i think mr harris is a good ballplayer. but i have to admit there are times when a player gets upset, but that player doesnt need to do anything dirty. he might have played good for you gomab but right now his attitude needs to be fixed. yes a player needs to play psysical at times but the game films says he did it intentially.

last night at the mt juliet vs kenwood game i felt as though mr harris was playing a little thuggish last night. on several occasions he elbowed players from mt juliet intentially causing one to bleed and then pushing one of our players in the back which it was called a flagrant foul. dont get me wrong he is a good player i just cant believe u couldnt control his anger. thats all i will say on that matter.

does anyone know how antwon harris is playing right now for kenwood or i heard that he is hurt or not playing at all.

that is right mt juliet didnt beat smyrna but i believe smyrna is about mt juliet in my rankings. as it stands right now mt juliet is 4th in district play which i believe is just one place below third. i have faith in the bears of mount juliet and i believe hard that the bears will beat hendersonville, lavergne, and central this week. we will just have to wait til the end of the week. i might be wrong but i dont think i will be bc the bears are pretty mad about the lose friday and will come out firing on all cylinders against hendersonville tuesday.

i think the second half of the season will be one of the most exciting district matchups in middle tennessee. with a lot of teams bunched up for seeds 3-6 it will be an exciting 3 weeks. the end will end up in my opinion like this: 1. hendersonville 2. smyrna 3. mt juliet 4. lavergne 5. gallatin 6. beech 7. central 8. white house i think laverge will struggle in the second half do to the fact they have to make up 2 games do to snow which will force them to play many games in a week.

i have to agree that the bears with helton coming back will make that team that much better. he hasnt lost his shooting touch one bit. we tried to keep a secret which we did until the central game got canceled then someone found out he was coming back and wrote an article about him. with helton back watch for sims power downlow which will open up shooting lanes for chris white and josh gay from the wings. the bears didnt do bad in his absence either. 8-7 and 2-3 in district play this team will make a run for one of the top positions in the district

wilson central never beat mt juliet in the programs two year existence. central as yet to win a game period.

i have to give it to northwest for the poise they had. when mt juliet made their run with the half court trap. when mt juliet went up by 3 northwest settled down and started to hit their shots. the big man for mt juliet led all scorers with 26. northwest went to line 28 times compared to mt juliets 16. that was were the game was won.

gomab i have to agree with you. while mt juliet came out sloppy brentwood academy could have blown it wide open but couldnt. the refs let the kids play. i liked that no tic tak fouls. mt juliet came out of the half down by 13 and started to press. brentwood academy couldnt handle the press and choked. mj capitalized on the presser and over came the two big men for ba.

mt juliet just didnt seem to be ready to play last night. but i know they were focused. i believe the team was to pumped up and nerves. they didnt run the offense correctly to many one on ones. mj big guy sat with foul trouble most of the game and hayes shot a horrible 1-10 from the field. smyrna didnt beat mt juliet, mount juliet beat themselves. smyrna shot 24-38 free throws which was about a third of their points. warner had 34 but most of his came from the line. mount juliet will be ready to play friday at hendersonville.

this will be a very hard district to play in this year. I believe this district is one of the most disciplined districts in state. with hendersonville reloading they are always a threat. beech has some good shooters. central will be better because they didnt lose any starters. gallatin is hard to play. white house wont be good this year but havent seen them. mt juliet will be better then last year and will surprise teams this year. smyrna will be good with the two big guys. my district rankings are 1. mt juliet 2. hendersonville 3. smyrna 4. gallatin 5. lavergne 6. beech 7. wilson central 8. white house the top 2 mt juliet and hendersonville will jocky for the number 1 and 2 the whole year. be an exciting year of district 9 basketball

mt juliet came out firing on all cylenders opening a 20-3 first quarter lead. the bears went on to when 56-34. sims and hayes led the way for the bears with 12 apeice with a strong support from the rest of the team.

i believe the pit at mount juliet or cutlip's crazies as i like to say are the best ive seen. they get into the opposing players heads at the start during the game and after the game. the refs hate us tossing us at will sometimes. we loud rude and the other teams at us. cutlips crazies could beat frb anyday of the week.
