  1. I agree bizazz, it is really dumb of Sevier County to try to make all of the superior teams in this area mad. Good luck trying to compete against these teams after you talk all this game.
  2. Sevier County will absolutely not suprise anyone tonight, Farragut is way too strong to be beaten by the Smoky Bears. This will not be a contest. Steven Hahn is on the mound tonight and he will control the game in the Admiral's favor. Expect Jimmy Kelly to hit for fences tonight. FHS by 20.
  3. I agree that it will be a good matchup between these two baseball powers. McKenry will be back, he is off the injured list as of today. It might take a week or so for him to return to form, but he has about a week until that game so i think he will be up to full speed. I haven't seen Maryville, but have seen Farragut outscore capable opponents 57-8 over 3 games. This, in my opinion, is very impressive. I think of all the teams around here, Maryville could probably give them the best run. I'm not trying to take anything away from Maryville or any other area teams but this a a powerful team that has no real weaknesses, look for them to go far.
  4. Farragut is the best by far.
  5. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about the early season sucess of the Farragut team. Will they keep it up all year, or fall short of huge expectations?
  6. I'm just looking forward to the great laugh I'm going to have when Farragut beats Bearden by the slaughter rule. Remember whatever the score is, add on 5 runs next time because then they will have McKenry. Go Admirals!
  7. umm i will apologize for my last post....my acquired the knowledge today that most likely neither cobb nor bowman will be pitching in this weekends farragut vs central match-up due to cobb pitching in the next weeks district games and bowmans suspension for the first two games for wearing improper headgear to school.
  8. At farragut high school, son of university of tennessee's coach rod delmonico, tony delmonico will be making a big impact this year and especially in years to come. he is a well refined baseball player as expected with so much experience around college baseball his whole life.....he is developing quite well into the farragut program and has shown a lot of power from both sides of the plate, plays real well at short-stop b/c of his glove and amazing arm, and is a developing but good right handed pitcher
  9. Farragut will be the best team in East Tennessee, no questions about it.
  10. What are everyones picks on this pivotal Region 2 5A game this Friday? Both teams are 5-3 (3-2)
  11. In what is the best 5A region in the state you have Oak Ridge at 6-1(4-0), Farragut at 5-2 (3-1), Ooltewah at 5-2(3-1), Soddy-Daisy at 5-2 (3-1), and William Blount at 3-4 (2-2). All these teams are capable and would would make the playoffs in any other region. Remember OR, FHS, OHS, and SD all have to play one another in weeks 8,9, and 10. Who comes out on top and who gets left out? [Edited by ENape8 on 10-17-02 10:01A]
  12. Farragut's Jamie Tidrick and Jacob Brown are both being looked at by UT, Alabama, and a handful of other D1 schools. Jamie is a 6'5 305lb. offensive lineman with great technique and Brown is a 6'2 215lb reciever that will catch anything thrown his way, and has breakaway speed.
  13. Herd, Where and when did you play against Jacob Brown.
  14. how about "you dont know the difference between a sneeze and a wet fart" from Varsity Blues.
