Proud of how our guys responded in a hostile environment the entire game. Ridiculous rule causing a one seed to travel 3 hours to a 2 seed. I can see rotating every other year if/when both are one seeds but the higher seed should have home field IMO. Oh well, they got it like they wanted it, just didn't work out for them in the end. Go Rebels!

Yep physicality is their calling card. I was proud of how our kids matched it.

Not trying to argue; from my angle most of that play was covered by traffic on the field. As for the Oakland fans i just commented on the few i encountered. Don't know enough about the rest of what you said to comment.

I also encountered a couple of Oakland fans who were very cordial and complimentary. I'm not sure Tillery intended to horse collar the guy; it was the only choice at the time otherwise the Oakland kid may have scored.

I am sure you are correct, and certainly this will be a difficult game. I was really citing Oakland's combination of athleticism and physicality on D making them as formidable as any around. Having said that, I would put our D up against any this year as well.

and this will be the best defense they face this year ( Sorry Oakland ) Sorry, but I will have to see this to believe it. And taking nothing from Ravenwood, but simply because Oakland was so good defensively.

Yeah and referring to Coach as "Mr Football" was a compliment I guess. LOL Quarles made his adjustments when the game started, by realizing we would have difficulty running on them and moving Vaught around in the short passing game. Their Coach on the other hand tried to impose his running game on us he had depended on all year for an entire half and pretty much got it stuffed. He rolled the dice on his O line vs our front seven and lost. The result was a 21 point lead at the half.
