Congratulations to Lady Hornets on their win over Culleoka and especially to Freshman Alison Limbaugh on her win.

I would just like to say that Coach Bondurant is one of the best coaches in District 11A. She is knows the game very well. She has really helped Moore County's program and is trying to turn it around and I will say it again until the summer league leaves slow-pitch and goes fast-pitch she is fighting an uphill battle. Also when a program has 6 coaches over a period of 6 years it is hard to get a program on track. As for the players and parents not liking her you apparently haven't talked to very many of the parents or players. She is a tough coach and demands respect. So does the coach at Forrest and she has a great program. I don't know of many people or players who is going to agree with everything a coach does but that is just human nature. Keep up the good work Kaci I hope you are here to stay for many more years.

Cascade has beaten Huntland and Community twice but they have lost to Moore Co. twice. Community has been beaten by Cascade and Huntland both times. Moore Co. beat Cascade both times but lost to Community both times. Huntland and Moore Co. split. How does this figure in the rankings.

Number one she is not the lead off batter, I think she is #2. When a player is not strong enough to get the ball out of the infield batting righthanded she is helping her team by slapping if she can do it. PowerSoftball learn the game.

I agree pitching is a big part of the game, but when outfielders drop balls that are in their gloves they are not helping their pitcher. AAU basketball took 2 starters from the softball team this year and that sure doesn't help. Coach Bondurant is doing a wonderful job and is trying to encourage girls to play fastpitch but trying to change the summer league in Moore Co. seems almost hopeless. Why these people can't see what it is doing to the high school program is beyond me. They want to be competitive in basketball but apparently softball doesn't matter. As for the slow pitcher Moore Co. has she sure seems to mess up the bats of the better teams in the district, she throws alot of junk at them and can change speeds on the ball, also she walks very few. Yes they do hit her but the balls are not hit as hard as they are against a faster pitcher. All the girls are trying really hard but to be competitive they have to stop making errors and play consistant. As for the slapping and bunting Coach knows what it takes to score the ones doing the complaining are slow pitch people. If you don't have the short game you can't win games. Thanks Coach for all you're trying to do it is really appreciated.

Has anyone got scores from games yesterday. Moore Co. beat Eagleville 17-4

The score of the Moore Co. - Richland game was 10 to 8. Richand scored 7 runs in the 6th to beat Moore Co. Moore Co. put up a great battle against a really good ball team.

How many small schools out there are losing good players to AAU because of pressure from AAU coaches and High School coaches. It seems like the small schools suffer the most. Most small school rely on a few basketball players to play softball and it seems like AAU is trying to get the upper hand by telling them they really need to stay in the gym. Is it really good on the knees and back to pound the gym floor 9 out of 12 months a year. Come on give these girls a break.

How does Huntland look this year? Heard they have a new coach. What happened to Reggie?
