Congrats on your victory wms...I actually played for Catholic the first year we made it to state, when we lost to you guys down on your home field...back when Dyer and Keene were still around...I have to say big props to my boys from Catholic though..I remember when jordan carlos derrick and i used to give u all a hard time about not being good this year...but you proved everyone wrong, after a slow start u guys came out like a bunch of badasses and made a great run through the end of the regular season and the tournament. I am very proud of you guys and know that you will be even better next year...you truly maximized your talent this year.

Haha take it easy man, its a joke...oh wow alot of juniors and seniors....boy if you had seen TN high school soccer a few years ago then you would know that its not McMinn thats getting better but the rest of their competition is getting weaker...im sorry, i dont really feel that making it to the state tournament is as big of an accomplishment in some regions as it used to be....there used to be mad competition between districts even...thats great mcminn made it to state...but i only made my comment after the retard who put the original post in...he's the one you should talk to for saying something so stupid. McMinn will NEVER be there...plain and simple they just dont have the talent to pull like bigger cities.

I respect your opinion, and you are right i don't really know cuz i didn't see them play...i guess i was just assuming since i had never heard anything about them before...and also all i knew was that they lost to CSAS and i know they arent really that great or anything...that does stink when a chance gets blown like that...im pretty positive it was division 1 travel though...ill stand by that...haha

alot do, but alot dont as well...basically there is liek one really good club team in knoxville in each age group...different years have more guys that go to the same school that play together...for instance the bearden guys last year, alot of them played together on the Arsenal who was a really good club team...this year farragut has a lot of juniors i think on the same club team in that age group...I know that my senior year, we were really spread out regarding which high school each club player went to. there were a couple at a bunch of different schools in knoxville. hope that clears it up a little.

Yeah...the best players r playing...most good club teams call a break during the spring season so that everyone can play high school....and yea, knoxville teams are state and even nationally ranked some in club ball...usually there is a really good team from knoxville, chattanooga, nashville, and memphis in the division 1 state club tournaments...but there is always a team that competes for the championship from knoxville. also u gotta remember that these "national high school soccer rankings" only involve like 6 or 7 states because all the other states play their seasons in the fall or winter.

I was wondering how people felt about this game....i feel that this could have been the final if the brackets weren't set up how they were...Catholic's hot...I can't explain it, i've seen em play and i know how they are compared to when we made it to state for the first time my senior year and we had to play CB...i don't understand how they are doing it, but they are pulling out victory after victory. CB is tough though...very tough...even without Michael Kraus they are a team to be reckoned with...what do you think the outcome will be? I want everyones input.... Last time i bet against them they won and gave me heck so hopefully that will happen again... CB 3 Catholic 1

yeah...titans got it right...obviously both teams weren't good enough... there truly are games that the team that loses should have won and everyone has their right to state their opinion....but honestly I don't see Page or whatever as a particularly strong team anyway. They might have been better, but the fact is they didn't advance...and they shouldn't whine cuz they probably wouldn't have made it far in state anyway...accept the lose and look forward to next season where you can whine some more if things don't turn out exactly how you want them to.

I think the 5-4 game was a fluke...both teams do have strong offenses but not as strong defenses...thats what i notice about TN high school soccer now...teams just aren't as solid as they used to be...I predicted Bearden would beat Farragut once this year, but they should've waited until the state tournament...if the guys that are having to step up for Farragut this year play SOLID and don't give up stupid mistakes then I'm thinking that tommorrow's game would be about: Farragut 3 Bearden 2 I'd like WesVols opinion on this one...he seems to be accurate thus far

Nah...I am not gonna diss you, I have a strong opinion and when I saw ridiculous posts like the ones about McMinn I had to make my presence felt...I might be getting a little old now, but of course I know my soccer...I play now, and I played then...i know how it works. and to see someone disrespect Farragut so bad as to say that McMinn would upset them...that is just ludicrous...i mean, if you are a team that gets lucky and has an easy way to the state tournament just accept it and dont try to pretend your team is good...ya know...

If you don't beat CBHS I am going to be upset...cuz our team was the original to lose to them 2 years ago, bring that trophy back home to knoxville where it should be...its tough when u play a bunch of teams that recruit, but get past CBHS and it will look good....i dont know though, they are pretty strong this year like always.

Like i said mcminn co was a joke with a weak ###### region...I wasn't sure if Farragut A's middle school soccer team could really beat McMinn, but now I'm convinced they would have blown them out.

im not positive, but i dont think the game has been played yet...its suppossed to be played today at 1pm i think...thats what one of their guys told me, and i believe its memphis time...so we probalby wont know until around 4 or 5 is my guess...they r suppossed to contact me, ill try to get a score up if i get a hold of one of em.

We don't go to Athens...they might these days because the club teams are weaker or something...but I've never met a good player from there....sorry

McMinn stinks...Farragut A's middle school team could beat them. even if they do come out and overlook them, they will still win.

He can be stopped...just put a workhorse on him. He's too good to get abused, but you can hopefully get him frustrated...Throw a guy in good shape thats fast and can play some D...u got him shut down. I don't know if that will help u with the rest of the team, but it should take care of him...I personally think Ian Backstrom from Farragut is better than him anyway. The key to beating Bearden is to not come out scared and show them that u aren't scared. Their skill level is way down this year, keep them on the run and take control of the game...good things will happen.

Good one guys...that was extremely clever, who would the Pope cheer for...haha, great. You can always make someone laugh. The truth is I really don't think that the Pope will cheer for any team in a TN state soccer tournament, I am not sure if he has heard about any team....oh wait....now i sound like titansfan...I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not, you are so monotonous...haha im just playing, the Pope will cheer for Catholic for sure...cuz the Pope is Catholic, and I don't think that Christian Brothers has all Catholics, I might be wrong there...just trying to provide a little insight.

At least he/shedawg could hint at the sarcasm...titan u must be about as smart as a tree stump. I'll tell you what i really think...they find a way to win. I've seen em play a terrible game and i've seen em play a good game. They don't really have anything special or one extremely lethal player, but they all work well as a unit and find a way to win. Although I thought the defense was pretty weak and young, they don't let people by them too often and make you work for your scores...of course if i was still around, i'd put em to shame...haha...they are CAPABLE of playing with any team in Div. II....hows that? maybe since i typed some stuff on a bulletin board your team will be able to beat them....oh yeah, one more secret...their goalie is homosexual and his twin brother also likes guys...see if your teammates can play into their tendencies, cuz i am sure they can.
