The article was an opinion article. Let him make his perdictions. They make sense to me. I believe CSAS and Howard will get plenty of coverage this week.

I don't really understand people saying he doesn't live up to his hype. Any kid in Chattanooga that has DI coaches coming to see him play is deserving of some hype. Does he need to improve, of course he does. Tennesseebball makes some good points... but remember he is a HIGH SCHOOL basketball player. Obviously the DI coaches are seeing something they like.

Chattanoogan.com opinion article Interesting... sounds like he was at Temple that night. Wouldn't want my four year old at a game like this. Good response from Coach Skogen. I appreciate that. The Lord will work in the lives of these young people but I think He wants adults to come along side these kids and help teach and provide an example of what it means to be compititive and pleasing to Him. We will all make mistakes... especially young people. Again... it is the responsibility of the adminstration at FCS (and any other school) to make sure their kids are representing their school. Boyd-Buchanan has some pretty roudy fans. I have seen the assistant principal pull kids from the stands and ask them to leave. I have seen him stand in the middle of the student section to make sure kids are not being kids. (as if it were an excuse) Step up and teach kids to be appropriate.

"real" temple people.... who is that? Over the years it has amazed me of the differing views of all the temple people. are the "real" ones the ones that are going to stick around even when things get tough... All Pasture said was he was disheartened by what Seth did after the game... not that big of deal. And now... back to the game...

I thought having the cheerleaders stand right behind the temple players was kind of classless. I have never seen that before. They should all be together on the end line. They were so close to the players they could have messaged their shoulders while they sat on the bench. I don't think any student section should go unchecked by the school adminstration at a game like that. (especially if you claim to be a Christian school) Kids will be stupid even at a Christian school but an adminstrator should be on top of those kids. I have seen it happen at many games. I have even seen administrators take kids out for being rude or disrespectful. I don't blame the kids... I blame the administration. Sitting behind the bench is a little rude but I guess it was part of their stratagy. Don't really have a problem with it but I can't imagine the kids didn't say things that they shouldn't have said because kids do stupid things. Where was the FCS adminstration? I am not a big temple fan but I am glad they won this game.

students in DI privates must pay their full tuition. They cannot be on scholarship whether it is need based or academic. If they recieve aide... they cannot play varsity athletics.

Remind me when Brandon Tarr last played? Was it his freshman year? Has he played high school ball since then? Has he been at CAK? Just wondering. I remember seeing him against CCS in the state finals which I believe was his freshman year. Thanks. Looking forward to a fun Class A/AA season.

This region is crazy. CCS (4th seed) beats Tyner (1st seed) by 10 points. Brainerd (2nd seed) beats Hixson (3rd seed) by 15 or so. East Ridge (1st seed) beat Polk (not much of a surprise) Howard (2nd seed) beats Boyd (3rd seed) by five. up next- CCS vs Howard (if Boyd came play with them... CCS should be able to) Howard is playing without Darius Ricks. He is a difference maker. I would hate to see Howard lose after such a great season. CCS would have to play very well. Brainerd vs East Ridge - this should be an awesome game. If Wells is hot, Brainerd could go down. Nice to see all-hamilton County going up to Clev State for region tournament.

Joey Skogen has never played quality varsity baskeball minutes in his life... and probably never will. I take it that was a joke. Fred Sturdivant from Brainerd is decent. Probably about 6'7? Pretty skinny right now but can throw it down when he is wide open. You could be one of the better players but doesn't get much playing time behind Orlandis Jackson.

What are you talking about? Temple's football team ended their season on an upset? They got beat by one of the best Class A teams in the state... on the road. It was not upset. You may be right about basketball though but it won't happen until the state tournament which probably won't really be an upset either. (in other words, the top eight teams that make it to the state tournament could all beat each other on any given day)

I was looking forward to seeing the results...even took the time to find a text feed of the match. It made me sick to see the first 4 or 5 matches were forfeited. What a croc! UTC travels eight hours to Missouri to walk out on the mat and get their arm raised for a forfeit. Put someone out there to wrestle. What a waste. Sorry for my bad attitude but I love to see our kids wrestle the big dogs. Hope they get to meet some of them in the NCAAs. Time for a good ol southern butt kickin. I would think Bono knew before he left for the trip... at least I would hope so. Go Mocs!

Do they have to drive to Copper Basin to play this game? Girls are playing each other too. Won't sell to many tickets in copper basin. Play it at Temple and it will be sold out. More money for all teams in the district since they all split the money. Temple will win big but maybe not as big as the last two times.

Big win for the Chargers of CCS. Can they hang with the Pioneers.... that all depends on Wells. Hixson-Howard should be interesting. Taylor did not play for Howard last night... not sure what's up with that. Can all the region 6-AA teams play with the best of Region 5-AA. I know Howard took it to Brainerd and they are the top seed in 5-AA. Should be an interesting region tournament.

Soddy beat everyone didnt they? They lost to Bradley during the season but came back and beat them in the duals and traditionals. They beat Baylor, McCallie and Ooltewah. Anyone else?

Lettner and Young wrestled very smart and aggressive matches against very good opponants.
