I agree. If the slowpitch players haven't converted over to fastpitch by the time high school rolls around, odds are that it's too late. It's very frustrating to make the transformation just from league ball to travel ball, much less from slowpitch to fastpitch. I never played slowpitch when I was little, and I thank my parents every day for it. Smyrna has a pretty big slowpitch program, maybe thats why their high school team is suffering so much.

Amber Hiltz played with us this past year. She played Mostly outfield and second base for us after our centerfielder broke her leg. Amber is awesome.

ASHLEY McCOOL! How could I forget my jehu?! (inside joke) She played with me when we were 14. And as a former Ezell student, I totally agree with her as one of the best and hardest working centerfielders.

Although she graduated last year, I still want to add my 2 cents into the pile and say that Camille Harris is the best centerfielder I've ever seen. Also, many people don't know who Shaun Cotten is, but she played for Lavergne 2 years ago and she was awesome. She's now playing at Vol State.

Blackman does have a strong team for being so young. Although they lost a lot in the coach they lost. They'll be alright. Lots of potential.
